Dear Anurodh & friends,

I would like to ask your advice on the following chart. The positions

of the planets in the chart are as follows:

Lagna:Libra

Sun:Sagittarius

Mercury,Venus:Scorpio

Saturn,Jupiter:Aries

Moon:Cancer

Mars:Libra

Rahu:Virgo

Ketu:Pisces

The birth details are as follows:

d.o.b: 18th December 1940

Place of birth:Shegaon

I do not have the birth time unfortunately (as the chart has been

misplaced)But since the Sun is in the 3rd house the time of birth

will be after midnight

I am adding a few incidents to help in verification of birth time:

(a)Eldest born in the family

(b)Spent the early part of life in very difficult circumstances

(economically)

©A brilliant student throughout his education and completed B.Sc

(MECHANICAL ENGINEERING)In 1963 with distinction

(d)Married in 1966

(d)First child (self) born in 1969 & the second (daughter) in 1972

The chart belongs to my father.I would like your opinion on his

health prospects in the near future. He had a open heart surgery done

for a defective valve in 2000 (the valve was replaced). These days he

is suffering from some sort of infection of the skin wherein

reddishness appears all of a sudden. After the surgery he has had to

take a lot of medication to keep his blood thin etc.

I am also adding my birth details:

d.o.b:9th april 1969

Time:16.30 hrs

Place:Shirpur (Dhulia District)Maharashtra (Nearest large city Pune)

In my view, the presence of Mars in Lagna aspected by Shani (Neecha) &

Guru (Lord of 3rd & 6th)from the 7th is the reason for bad health. In

addition he is running Saade Saati currently which is very worrying.

Kindly let me know what remedies can be undertaken to improve his

health

I would really be greatful for inputs from all members

Best Regards,

aavesh

Hello Aavesh,

Not Having the time of birth of your father seems to make it almost

impossible to have a good prediction: KP, as I understand it now, is

precise to the degree (with subs).

However, I would appreciate any information of our experienced

members on rectification of a birth chart. This implies:

(1) Does Topocentric house system is more precise than Placidus house

system?

(2) Do transits (gochara) are the main tool for rectification, as in

other system of hindu astrology?

Kind regards - François

Dear Francois,

the single tried and tested utility of KP is the ruling planets by

which we can arrive at correct degree of ascendant upto sub sub level.

Dear Dr Rahul & Francois,

Firstly many thanks for your responses.Frankly speaking I am learning

KP astrology & cannot claim proficiency in this. However I am

reasonably well experienced in the traditional version wherein the

Dwadamshamsha chart is used to look into all aspects governing

parents.

However,i personally feel that one cannot make a good judgement

particularly concerning one's close relatives as emotions come into

play & can cloud judgement particularly when the matters are as

sensitive as health.

I am sure K.P Jyotish with it's wonderful methods at fixing Lagna etc

can help me in this regard.

I look forward to your valuable inputs & ALSO THE INPUTS FROM OTHER

LEARNED MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM

Thanks & in anticipation,
