Hello from Suresh...and my first attempt to learn KP.

Hello Folks,

 

My name is Suresh Iyer and I am working as a

software

analyst in Hewlett Packard Bangalore. I

developed

interest in astrology a couple of months back

and

started reading the traditional vedic astrology,

mostly

lots of B.V. Raman's books and System's approach

by

Chowdari. Though I was just developing an idea

about

our astrology system, in the mean time, I happened

to

get hold of KP six readers and started

reading

them...What these books claim, impress me and

I

enrolled in this newsgroup...and have been

following

the discussions closely.

 

I have lots of doubts and need

clarifications.

Anyways, before narrating my questions, I would like

to

present the feeble attempt I made in reading my

own

horoscope. Given below is the details of it.

The

details of the horoscope were captured using the

KP.exe

software which was published in this newsgroup a

couple

of weeks back. Since my family is looking out

for

alliances for me, I thought I will start with my

own

and try to find the time frame.

 

Time of birth: 9:15 PM. IST.

Date of Birth: 24-12-1973.

Latitude : 10 deg 52 min North.

Longitude : 78 deg 44 min East.

Objective: Find out the timeframe of marriage.

 

Steps I Followed:

 

I. Identify the houses.

 

Ans: 2, 7 and 11.

 

II. Identify the planets which are significators.

 

House2 House 7 House 11.

 

1) Planets Occupying NONE NONE Ketu,

Sat.

 

 

2) Planets in

constellation owned NONE NONE Sun, Moon,

by (1). mars, merc

rahu.None

in const of

sat.

 

3) Planets owning SUN Saturn Venus

 

4) Planets in

constellation ruled NONE NONE NONE.

by (3).

 

 

I end up having SUN, MOON, MARS, MERCURY, RAHU,

KETU

and SATURN.

 

Now I need to eliminate those planets whose sublord

is

in 1, 6 and 10th and the significator of 12th house.

 

This means, SUN and MERCURY gets eliminated.

 

I end up having MOON, MARS, RAHU, KETU and saturn.

 

CONCLUSION:

===========

 

After this, I did not know how to proceed. SO I

went

back to the dasa, bukti and found that Dasha

details

are as follows.

 

Mo/Ma --> NOV 2, 2002

Mo/Ra --> JUN 3, 2003

Mo/Ju --> Dec 2, 2004

Mo/Sat --> Apr 3, 2006.

Mo/Me --> Nov 2, 2007.

 

 

Hence I concluded that my marriage could happen

b/w

3rd June 2003 and 2nd dec 2004 or after Apr

3rd

2006.

 

My questions:

Q.1 ) Am I making the correct steps in reading

a

horoscope ?

 

Q.2 ) In this case, I got stuck and could

not

proceed further when I got a couple of planets

as significtaors. Without getting into Ruling

planets at the moment of judegment, how to

find the correct planet.

 

Q.3) Can you explain Ruling planet at the moment

of

judgement ?

Hi Suresh,

Welcome to the group. I agree with what Anurodh

sdaid.Instead of using Birth time /natal chart why dont you use

Horary astrology to find the timing of marriage. At the same time

give us a number for the prediction.

In natal chart once you find DBA check the transit of the

planets which are DBA -

What is the anthra here ? You considered just Dasa and Bhukti.

Moon which is the DASA and Bhuthi (Ma,Ra,Ju,Sat,Me )should be

transiting in the significators of concerned houses at that moment.

 

RP's should be used to find strong/additional planets which

contribute to the happening of the event.

Before starting any analysis always check whether the Sublord of

the concerned house directs towards yes/no. Here u should see 7th sub.

Sub is the Supremo.
