[l] best way to learn K.P system?

Could someone indicates which book is the best way to understand the the theory of sub-lords as i've seen on others jyotish lists that reading the 6 books of K.P can be hard for the beginner cause some misinterpretations can occur ( because others than Krishnamurti himslef added any comments ).I've been trying to understand the basics of the system but i feel lost as i get many significators for houses when i try to read a chart and i wonder how to go on...thanks a lot.
