Guest guest
Dear List, Here are my thoughts on real estate: Besides the strength of Mars and its prolonged stay in Ar, the strong longer term rise was due to the influence of Saturn L10 Ar (since June 2005), and from late last year Jupiter's L7 Ar. November this year Jupiter moves out of Libra, and in July '07 Saturn moves from Cn with no more retrograde action into it. Also, in November the nodes change position to Aq/Le. Ke's influence will be on Aries. In the US, the Fed overnight lending rate has been on the rise from record lows: 1% in June 2003, currently 5.25%. (History here http://www.the-privateer.com/rates.html). There is an inverse lagging relationship between rates and the increase of real estate prices. In June 2005, when the rate moved over the 3.00% mark, many people moved to buy new homes or lock in a good rate as it was foreseen that rates would continue to rise ('coincides' nicely with Saturn in Cn June 2005). Now the speculation is there that the Fed is going to pause the increase. What to expect? I believe that the combination of the axis and Ju changing stations in Nov, will certainly indicate a set the tone lack of profitability in real estate investments for the masses. Noteable is that from November '06 until +Jul '07, generally Saturn's retrograde action will be weak by degree in addition to the Moon's regular weakness. Guest guest
Dear Vyas, Superb analysis. I concur. When Saturn comes out of infancy in August 2007 while transiting royal Leo, we should expect the impending slowdown to at least level. In October '07, Saturn will be conjunct Ketu and this too could be troublesome. However, in the USA chart, Jupiter's transit of the 1st house will be a welcome change from its current placement in Libra. Ditto for its subsequent transit through Sagittarius. Guest guest
Dear Arun, Thanks for your kind words. The role Saturn plays in my analysis is that it currently aspects Aries. The move to Leo removes this. Hence its weakness from the end of this year, coupled with Ju and the nodes changing station should really drive home the slowing of RE investments.
