the Convention at Hartford approved the Federal Constitution by a vote of 128

to 40. Connecticut became the fifth state to ratify the Constitution and to

become a state in the United States of America.

senator and governor Abraham Ribicoff died at age 87.

reported that 2 spent nuclear fuel rods had disappeared

from a power plant.

Norwich 4 children under 13 died in a house fire, while their mother was at

explosion at a condominium complex in West Haven killed 2 people. Natural gas

Connecticut 2 cranes collapsed at a bridge construction site and one worker was

killed.

 

2004        Mar 25, In

Connecticut an oil truck crashed on I-95 causing a fires and structural damage

to a bridge.
