Two crew members on board the helicopter have been injured and have been flown to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, for treatment. The South African-built Puma helicopter went down in the Neelum Valley, reports say. Dozens of helicopters have been used to provide relief after last October's devastating earthquake. An International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) spokesman Raza Hamdani told Geo News that the accident took place at around midday near Bandi Fateh Jang area of Neelum Valley. The helicopter was busy in relief operation in quake-hit region.
