Canadian Tourists Murdered in Mexico

Dear List Members: There is a story that does not seem to have

received much attention internationally other than the Canadian and

Mexican press. Early in the morning of February 20 (8:15am) the

bodies of two Canadain tourists were discovered murdered in their

hotel room, in a posh resort near Cancun. They were to attend the

wedding of their daughter that morning. Their throats were slashed

in the grizzly attack. However, there was nothing stolen from the

room, no sign of forced entry and nothing unusual reported by other

resort guests that evening. The murders took place sometime between

11:15pm Sunday February 19 and the early morning hours of February

20. In the chart of Mexico, transiting Ketu is afflicting the 7H MEP

(tourism) and Jupiter, posited in 7H near the MEP. The police, (Mars

lord of 6H) have been accused of bungling the invesitigation.

Interestingly enough, Jupiter well placed and strong in 7H, has

given Mexico a robust tourist industry. Canada is Mexico's largest

supplier of tourists. Jupiter is lord of 2H in the Canad Union

chart. The Mexican tourism industry feared the report of the murders

would lead to wisespread cancellations of Canadian tourism with the

heaviest tourism month upon them (end of February to end of March).

However, while travel agencies in Canada reported only a slight dip

in tourism after the report, advance bookings for the month of March

remain strong, as the Ketu aspect moves on. Would the Ketu aspect to

Jupiter and 7H be enough to signal the murders? Could Ketu also

account for the mysterious circumstances? With my best wishes, Chuck
