Guest guest
OOPS! In correcting a few typos, after posting this message, of course, I then only recognized that I had completely confused the reader about certain Masonic ceremonial events, which now to be explained, are: [01] the FOUNDATION STONE ceremony on July 4, 1848. This, the placing of the sacred stone in an opened trench in order to sanctify the commencement of construction of the Washington Monument represents, symbolically, the physical "conception" moment of the building, and which ceremony is too often confused, in the popular literature, with the cornerstone ceremony, which takes place, naturally, at some elevation from the ground. Commonly displaying the year of the building's establishment. The year 1848 marked the start of the gestation process for the Washington Monument. [02] the CORNERSTONE ceremony, 32 years later, on August 7, 1880, is the moment of the Monument's "ensoulment", just as the ancients across the various religions of the world believed, so too the Masons of all stripes, that what makes the human being a "person" is the soul's entry to the physical body on the 40th day after conception. In this historic case, 40 days encompassed 32 years. [03] the CAPSTONE ceremony, 4 years later, on December 6, 1884, as if the physical body then and there born to the world, a living being, ensouled, but yet still not baptized. And last but certainly not least of all four: [04] the DEDICATION ceremony, wherein George Washington's soul was accorded the highest of Masonic honors, and so as the Monument was baptized and accordingly named, so too the Great Man Washington's departed soul was "re-baptized", and so "apotheosized", to be delivered to the heavens above, to forever dwell in the firmament over the nation's capital, to provide protective inspiration to the city's people as well as to the entire nation; and which city lives, however unknowingly day to day, as it continues to bask in the glory of George Washington's apotheosis, and thru his name, forever it is hoped throughout America, the name of this extraordinary Monument and the city that protects it, Washington, D.C. His birthday is celebrated publicly on the Gregorian (new style) calendar date of February 22nd, Washington, however, always celebrated with his family on February 11th. His birthplace was close to Bridge's and Pope's Creeks on the Wakefield Farm, just south of Colonial Beach, Westmoreland County, Virginia; born to Augustine and Mary (Ball) Washington. On May 2, 1792, George Washington conversed with Isaac Heard, the Washington family genealogist, of which Q: Was Washington born at Mount Vernon? A: No. He was born February 11, 1732, near Bridges Creek, on an estate later called Wakefield (probably named by Washington's nephew William AugustineWashington), in Westmoreland County, Virginia, about forty miles south of Mount Vernon. On February 11 (Old Style), 1732-when jasmine and jonquils were beginning to bloom and dark purple berries were forming on the native "cedar" trees-Mary Ball Washington gave birth to her first child, a boy she named George. The time was about 10 o'clock in the morning. At a later date the event was recorded with brevity in the family Bible: Quote: "George Washington, son to Augustine & Mary his Wife was Born ye 11th Day of February 1731/32 about 10 in the Morning & was Baptis'd the 5th of April following. Mr. Beverley Whiting & Capt Christopher Brookes godfathers and Mrs. Mildred Gregory godmother. The place where George was baptized on the 5th of April is unknown, although the christening probably took place in the Popes Creek home. If not there, it may have occurred at Mattox Church (located at Church Point about 2-1/2 miles away) or at Round Hill Church about 16 miles from the Popes Creek home by road. The Reverend Roderick McCullough was the minister in charge of the Episcopal churches in Washington Parish. [The Washington family bible is now located in the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia, on the 4th Floor, in the museum] Estimated time of birth: on a Saturday, February 22, 1732, Colonial Beach, Virginia @ 10:13:42, LMT +5:07:51 (09:59:42 LAT); Longitude: 076W57:50, which is the 77th degree of longitude, which is God's meridian. A LIFE ENDS: "Around 6 p.m., the general told his physicians, "I feel myself going... let me go off quietly; I cannot last long." Two hours later, the doctors applied blisters to his legs, but went out without a ray of hope. About 10, with great difficulty, Washington said, "I am just going. Have me decently buried, and do not let my body be put into the Vault in less than two days after I am dead." I bowed assent. A little while later, he expired without a struggle or a Sigh!" Tobias Lear's December 15, 1799 journal entry, on the death of George Washington. Estimated time of death: on a Saturday, Dec 14, 1799, Mount Vernon, Virginia @ 22:24:30, LMT +5:08:21 (22:26:30 LAT) THE WASHINGTON MONUMENT DEDICATED: In 1833 the newly established Washington Monument Society set its goal: to erect "'the highest edifice in the world, and the most stupendous and magnificent monument ever erected to man'" in commemorating the life of George Washington and his heroic service to his nation.(Savage, p.16)]. Dried-up funds may have stunted some of the ambitious objectives of the project, but not the timetable: the foundation stone, cornerstone, capstone and dedication ceremonies, four in all, were scheduled decades in advance, in accordance with the dictates of the planets and the stars. The project's 'progress' was intermittently delayed until re-started by the introduction of a foward-looking initiative sponsored in the U.S. Congress during 1876 (the nation's Centennial year). The Masonic dedication ceremony of the completed Washington Monument took place on February 21, 1885, one day before the 153rd anniversary of GW's birthday. This choice of date was Masonically elected, and represents the end result of a long-range plan that clearly looked ahead to 1885, well before the first of four sacred Masonic ceremonies, that of the FOUNDATION STONE, on July 4, 1848; then the second of the four, on August 7, 1880, that of the CORNERSTONE, which cornerstone was set at the height of the "153rd foot" to symbolize the anticipated birthday anniversary on February 21, 1885, Washington's "153rd" birthday; then the third of the four, on December 6, 1884, that one, the ceremony of the CAPSTONE, the culminating architectural moment of the Washington Monument. On these four auspiciously interrelated occasions the configuration of the heavens was as if a herald to the anticipated event of George Washington's apotheosis, at the culminating moments of the dedication ceremony, scheduled decades in advance for February 21, 1885. This date had been predetermined by Masonic attention to the the given positions of the natal Sun @ 13:12 Aquarius, on February 22, 1732 and the ceremonial Sun @ 11:07 Aquarius, on February 21, 1885. [in tropical rendering, as in the common Masonic zodiac, the positions are virtually the same, 03:20 and 03:22 Pisces, respectively.] The ceremony marked the beginning of the end of the main construction phase of the memorial, aside from some not unimportant final details, and, as well, it was to be the last official act of the then President of the United States Chester Alan Arthur, who, by the way, for his patriotic efforts that day, caught a cold during the ceremonies. [President Arthur's successor, the 22nd President, Grover Cleveland, took the oath of office 11 days later, on March 4, 1885.] ELECTIONAL ASTROLOGY MANIFEST IN THE CONNEXITY OF EVENTS February 22. 1732, a Saturday: George Washington's Birth @ near Pope's Creek Road, Colonial Beach, Virginia, U.S.A. @ "about 10:00 a.m. (LAT) " (=10:14 LMT) February 21, 1885, a Saturday: Washington Monument's Masonic Dedication Ceremony @ Washington, D.C. @ a time moment unrecorded [Astrologer & historian, David Ovason confirms "early afternoon" by the shadows cast in one extant photo of this event] Luna/Asc/Sol :: ::Asc/Luna/Sol [Lahiri] 1732 @ 10:13:42 hrs [LMT +5:07:51]: Moon: 26.Sagittarius.58; Asc: 02.Taurus.48; Sun 13.Aquarius.12 1885 @ 14:03:33 hrs [LMT +5:00:00]: Desc: 26.Sagittarius.58; Moon: 02.Taurus.48; Sun 11.Aquarius.07 CHEERS, John Relax.
