Mud

wipes out Philippines village

A major landslide in the central Philippines is reported to have buried

an entire village.

Four people are so far confirmed dead in Ginsahugan village in

the town of St Bernard on the southern part of the island of Leyte.

However Philippine Red Cross officials estimated that 200 might be dead, and said a further 1,500 were

missing.

Survivor Dario Libatan said: " It sounded like the mountain

exploded, and the whole thing crumbled. "

" I could not see any house standing anymore, " he said.

The landslide followed heavy rains in the Philippines.

Civil defence officials said only four bodies had been

recovered, but the death toll was likely to rise as the scene of the disaster

had been difficult to reach.

Initial reports said there may have been 500 houses in the

village, and that a school was among the buildings buried.

Dear Jorge:

I think they are now saying the mudslide was due to an earthquake.

Either way, Saturn rules things of the earth, and it is under the close aspect of stationary Rahu.

In my weekly column, I indicated earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis. We can also add floods and mudslides...etc.

Best wishes to you.

Dear David,

You are right. Both aspects are ruled by

the fourth house and the planet Saturn in the rectified chart of Philippines.

Regarding the operational planet Saturn,

besides being aspected in transit by Rahu, what is relevant is the fact of

being also aspected by the natal Mars, from house 6, and being the most malefic

planet in navamsha.

Transit MMP Venus, L12 (floods), besides

being afflicted by natal Rahu/Ketu axis, is also afflicted & afflicts natal

Venus.

Best wishes,

Jorge
