Sun transits Capricorn from 12:11 to 19:18°, conjunct Mercury. Sun remains under the close aspect of Ketu and Saturn until Jan. 29 and Jan. 31, respectively. Governments and leaders remain vulnerable.

 

Moon transits Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. The new Moon is in Capricorn, Jan. 29.

 

Mercury transits Capricorn from 11:45 to 23:53°, conjunct Sun, under the close aspect of Ketu and Saturn until Jan. 29.

 

Mars transits Aries, from 25:39 to 28:39°, moving away from the close aspect of Jupiter. Mars is weak until Feb. 15. (The police, military and property are vulnerable.)

 

Venus transits Sagittarius from 23:25 to 22:06°, retrograde until Feb. 3. (Good for teaching and the creative arts.)

 

Jupiter transits Libra from 22:48 to 23:30°, under the aspect of Mars through Jan. (Take care if your rising sign is Taurus, Virgo, or Scorpio.)

 

Saturn transits Cancer from 14:03 to 13:29°, retrograde until April 5. Saturn is under the close aspect of Rahu through May. (This not ideal for the labor force, or the gas, oil, and coal industries.) (Ford Motor Co. and DaimlerChrysler to Lay Off Thousands.)
