A spokeswoman said the victims were among 21 factory workers on the bus, who were travelling home after a shift. Russian news agencies initially reported that those killed were schoolchildren. Another five people were hurt in the crash at an unmaned railway crossing in the Ust-Labinskiy district. The ministry said the accident happened in the morning in heavy fog, and the engine car derailed.
