The results from the referendum preceding the adopted Declaration for Independence at the first multi party Macedonian Parliament on January 25, 1991. The will of the people for independent state was confirmed with the declaration for acceptance of the results from the referendum on September 18, 1991 at the Macedonian Parliament. The next important step in strengthening of the state was the adoption of the Constitution on November 17, 1991, which was supplemented after 2001 conflict and signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, 10 years later. The internationally legal subjectivity of the state was recognised on April 8, 1993 with an acclamation of the UN General Assembly, Macedonia was admitted as 181st full-fledged member in the world organisation. Monday, 9 April, 2001, A British armed forces helicopter has crashed near the border between Kosovo and Macedonia. The British Puma helicopter came down at Kranacia, south-west of Pristina, at 1345GMT. 7 on board, 2 dead. 2001       Aug 10, Two mines hit military trucks near Skopje and 7 soldiers were killed 2001       Aug 26, An explosion at a hotel in Celopek killed 2 Macedonian Slavs. Sunday, 10 February, 2002, 16:04 GMT - Macedonia bomb blast, 1 dead. 2002       Mar 2-3, Macedonia police killed 7 men who allegedly attempted an ambush near Butel, a suburb of Skopje. Police said the attackers were probably Pakistanis. 2002       Dec 5, In Pakistan a bomb exploded at the Macedonian Consulate and 3 people were killed. Revenge for a Mar 2 killing of 7 militants in Skopje was suspected. Thursday, 26 February, 2004, Macedonia leader 'dead in crash', 9 dead.
