(CNN) -- A bomb exploded

Wednesday night in a nightclub in the province of Navarra in northern Spain, an attack authorities were linking to the

Basque separatist group ETA, a central government spokesman told CNN.

No one was hurt in the blast, which occurred at 10 p.m. (9

p.m. GMT) at the Borracho nightclub, which was closed at the time and

suffered property damage, said the spokesman from Pamplona, the provincial capital

of Navarra. He asked not to be identified by name.

The nightclub is in the town of San Esteban in northern Navarra Province. The town is about 50

miles (80 km) southeast of the coastal city of San Sebastian.
