Guest guest
Dear List Members, This is the rectified chart of: NETHERLANDS DOB: January 23, 1579 (OS) TOB: 11:33:43 POB: Utrecht, 5E08, 52N05 LAGNA: 20º 00’ 12’’ _ Some of the events/facts used in the rectification: UTRECHT: LMT -00:20 23 January 1579 (Old Style) = 2 February 1579 (New Style) The Eighty Years' War, or Dutch Revolt, was the war of secession between the Netherlands and the Spanish king, that lasted from 1568 to 1648. The war resulted in the Seven United Provinces being recognized as an independent state. The region now known as Belgium and Luxembourg also became established as the Southern Netherlands, part of the Seventeen Provinces that remained under royal Habsburg rule. On January 6, 1579, prompted by the new Spanish governor Alexander Farnese (Duke of Parma), the southern states (today mostly in France and part of Wallonia) signed the Union of Atrecht (Arras), expressing their loyalty to the Spanish king. On January 23, 1579, in response, William united the northern states of Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Gelderland and the province of Groningen in the Union of Utrecht. Southern cities like Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp joined the Union. This union later (1581) led to the abjuration of the king, forming the United Provinces of the Netherlands, also known as the Dutch Republic, after they failed to find a new sovereign and the States General took his place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_independence 23 January 1579 (the northern provinces of the Low Countries conclude the Union of Utrecht breaking with Spain; it was not until 1648 that Spain recognized their independence) http://www.indexmundi.com/netherlands/independence.html Independence: 23 January 1579 (the northern provinces of the Low Countries conclude the Union of Utrecht breaking with Spain; it was not until 1648 that Spain recognized their independence) http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/nl.html Disaster Date Killed Flood 31-Jan-1953 2,000 Extreme Temperature 31-Jul-2003 1,200 Wind Storm Jan-1990 21 Epidemic 12-Feb-1999 13 Wind Storm 27-Oct-2002 4 Wind Storm 8-Jun-1997 2 Wind Storm Nov-1972 0 Wind Storm Jan-1976 0 Wind Storm 21-Nov-1984 0 Wind Storm Aug-1985 0 Disaster Date Affected Flood 31-Jan-1953 300,000 Flood 20-Jan-1995 250,000 Flood 23-Dec-1993 12,000 Flood 14-Sep-1998 2,000 Epidemic 12-Feb-1999 200 Wind Storm 8-Jun-1997 100 Earthquake 13-Apr-1992 20 Wind Storm 8-Jan-2005 1 Wind Storm Nov-1972 0 Wind Storm Jan-1976 0 Disaster Date Killed Transport Accident 8-Jan-1962 93 Transport Accident 4-Oct-1992 74 Transport Accident 13-Sep-1918 41 Transport Accident 15-Jul-1996 34 Transport Accident 25-Sep-1996 32 Misc Accident 13-May-2000 25 Transport Accident 14-Jun-1917 24 Transport Accident 4-May-1976 24 Transport Accident 14-May-1917 21 Disaster Date Affected Misc Accident 13-May-2000 3,000 Misc Accident 1-Jan-2001 180 Transport Accident 1975 104 Transport Accident 13-Sep-1918 40 Transport Accident 4-Oct-1992 36 Transport Accident 30-Sep-1954 7 Transport Accident 15-Jul-1995 7 Transport Accident 15-Jul-1996 7 Transport Accident 14-May-1917 0 Transport Accident 14-Jun-1917 date type registration operator fat. location pic cat 24-DEC-1997, 22:48, Boeing 757 PH-TKC Transavia Airlines 0 Netherlands A2 * 25-SEP-1996, 16:37, Douglas DC-3 PH-DDA DDA 32 Netherlands A1 * 15-JUL-1996, 18:02, Lockheed C-130 CH-06 Belgian AF 34 Netherlands A1 * 16-JUN-1996 Shorts Skyvan OE-FDI Pink Aviation Services 0 Netherlands A1 04-APR-1994, 14:46, Saab 340 PH-KSH KLM Cityhopper 3 Netherlands A1 * 28-JAN-1994 Fokker 100 PH-KLG KLM 0 Netherlands A2 26-JUL-1993 Boeing 707 OD-AFY TMA 0 Netherlands A1 04-OCT-1992, 17:35 UTC, Boeing 747 4X-AXG El Al 4 Netherlands A1 * 19-JUL-1990, 20:30, Fokker F-27 G-BCDO Air UK 0 Netherlands A1 * 31-JUL-1987 Fokker 100 PH-MKH Fokker 0 Netherlands A2 14-SEP-1986, 03:10, Trislander G-BDTP Kondair 1 Netherlands A1 * 06-OCT-1981, 17:12, Fokker F-28 PH-CHI NLM Cityhopper 17 Netherlands A1 * 22-JUN-1974 Caravelle PH-TRH Transavia Holland 0 Netherlands A1 18-DEC-1970 HFB-320 Hansa Jet D-CIRO General Air 0 Netherlands U1 30-AUG-1970 Islander PH-NVA Dutch Continental Airways 3 Netherlands A1 07-MAY-1970 Douglas DC-3 OO-AUX Sabena 0 Netherlands U1 29-JUN-1968 DC-8 PH-DCH VIASA 0 Netherlands O1 09-NOV-1966, 13:10, Islander G-ATCT Britten Norman 2 Netherlands A1 28-DEC-1962 ATL-98 Carvair G-ARSF Channel Air Bridge 1 Netherlands A1 23-AUG-1954, ca 11:30, Douglas DC-6 PH-DFO KLM 21 Netherlands A1 * 25-MAY-1953, ca. 15:30, Convair CV-240 PH-TEI KLM 0 Netherlands A1 * Two girls outside the airport were killed as well. 14-DEC-1951, 17:57 UTC, Douglas DC-4 HB-ILO Swissair 0 Netherlands A1 * Crashed while attempting an overshoot during an ILS approach in dense fog. 16-JUN-1948 Douglas DC-4 PH-TCF KLM 0 Netherlands A1 01-MAY-1948 Douglas DC-6 PH-TKW KLM 0 Netherlands A1 Crashed on landing and broke in two. 27-DEC-1947, ca 12:40, Douglas DC-3 PH-TCV KLM 0 Netherlands A1 * belly landing. 14-NOV-1946 Douglas DC-3 PH-TBW KLM 26 Netherlands A1 Netherlands Historical 10th cent. - County of Holland 23 Dec 1482 - Under Habsburg rule (Austrian to 1556; then to Spanish branch). 16 Jan 1556 - Part of the Spanish Netherlands. 1566 - Revolt against Spanish rule begins.
