Gold Rise & Other Markets

We saw a rise in gold over the last two days meeting a new high. I

see this due to Sun exactly conj Ketu.

I reckon USD will make some more good gains from onwards this month.

In a newsletter that I publish, I indicated that from midnight to 5

am ET we should have seen good USD longs come online and continuing

interest all day, making it the best day of the week to buy.

The 17th and a few days around it causes some concern in my view -

either a good retracement against or a plummeting of several hundred

pips on the major currency pairs. As for oil, prices are strong, but

not making any new headway just yet in my humble opinion. I see it

dipping into the upper $50's/brl soon. On the SP500, 1178 should be

hit next week.

Best regards to all,

Vyas Munidas

Here are my most recent market comments and the one prior:

Tue Oct 11, 12:08 ET

AUD has broken through a TL that's been forming since Sep 2004. We

should see offers come in at the 7535/50 area. The target is 7420 –

the longer term TL from Sep 2003. We have a USD rally marked by the

MP model today. Volatility can be marked by liquidation candles

between 10:30 to 15:00. After 15:00 we should see a drop in EURO

around 60 pips min and 120 pips on average. 2020/30 area is the

current resistance, and support is broken at 1960. Further support

is at 1900, followed by 1840. SP500 is nicely on its way to it's

target as mentioned below.

Thu Oct 6 14:58 ET

EURO has major resistance at 2240/60. Minor resistance is seen at

2200. SWISSY is supported in the 2635/55 area. The recent gains

against dollar are a needed healthy retracement. Our MP model

suggests that from midnight, Oct 7 should be dollar positive.

USD/JPY has some TL support around 113 – if it breaks, we can see

112.20. Our target on the SP500 has been hit (1190). The next level

to watch is 1178.50. DOW has support at 10010 and will be probably

be reached around the 17th of Oct.

My latest view:

Thu Oct 13, 12:18 ET

EURO's current resistance band is 1940/60. We can see a new low this

week at 1895 – there seems to be TL support at 1890; 1870 will

invalidate it. SP500 has made and exceeded its target of 1178.5.

1162 is next to watch. GOLD has support at 446/50, valid till 9 Nov.

AUD is nicely on its way to the 7420 target. DOW [10187] is almost

at target 10010. USD/JPY can touch its upper channel at 115.20/30;

support lies at 114.50 currently.

Hi everyone,

With transits in mind, here's my latest view on currency markets:

Sat Oct 15, 13:28 ET

USD broke key support levels right after our last post. On EURO 2035

offers support and a break of 2110 opens up 2320 this coming week.

For SWISSY, resistance is seen at 2870 and the key level to break is

2770, opening up a target of 2550 and possibly 2460 on an overshoot.

AUD has resistance at 7550/60 area and a break there suggests 7610

as a good target with 7660 on the high side. Our MP model suggests

rapid moves this week.

Additionally, I believe that after this Thursday, we should be USD

positive again. Most of Nov should see strong USD rise and a break

of the current bottom on EURO. Let's see.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas

Dear Vyas Munidas,

The fact that you are relating the price of gold to the present transit

affliction to Venus is interesting.

As for the other aspects, I do not understand them but I believe some

other list members are taking advantage of it.

Best wishes,

Jorge

Jorge,

My approach is to attempt to corelate the transits to mass

psychology. My findings suggest that, like people, each commodity

and financial instrument, is affected by all the planets to varying

degrees.

An inspection of the swing high and lows in the gold chart for

instance suggests this is valid when looked at in the context of all

transits. In the absence of a natal chart, this can become a

daunting task. However, if we look at the chart of an instrument

with the transits in mind with a method of measurment (%

increase/decrease), and a reliable trading plan, there's much to

gain.

The Su/Ju combination may be beneficial to gold today even though Su

is in Libra and both planets are in infancy. The Ra/Ve aspect also

moves from being exact, so we may see some flows (however little)

returning to both gold and USD, especially since the losses on USD

has been primarily stop loss related.

BTW, I learn't something noteworthy today, clearing houses are ruled

by Rahu.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas

Dear Vyas Munidas,

I agree with you. The collective consciousness of any country goes very

much with the changes in transit/dasha of the chart of that country.

As you are doing this regularly, I would suggest you keep a record of

all these transits/gold fluctuations for the purpose of finding in

future a world chart for gold. For this, besides the general

significations of the planets, we should keep in mind their functional

nature for each ascendant.

Best wishes,

Jorge

Re: Gold Rise & Other Markets

Hi everyone,

USD is taking a beating primarily because of this Ra/Ve transit. My

latest post:

Wed Oct 19, 11:48 ET

Currently, EURO has resistance at 2020 and a TL resistance break at

2090. Support is seen at 1940/60 area. SWISSY is supported by

2910/25 and current TL support is 2830. By the MP model, the recent

volatility is likely to last, at a minimum, till 9:15 tomorrow. By

Monday 24th, volatility should be at normal levels - perhaps good

buying opportunities on USD around then.

Additionally, SWISSY has broken through it's TL and the next minor

target in view is 2780's.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas

PS: Does anyone find value in my posting? If I'm only entertaining

myself, I'll quit! I learn alot from the good folks on here so this

is my way of giving back a little to those interested in the

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your kind words.

I'm looking at the charts (technical) now. With transits in mind, I

believe that we'll see a negative opening for USD. EURO and SWISSY

should move sideways or slightly USD negative till mid-day of the

London session (say around 6/7am ET). Good flows should be present

throughout the US session. A good (safe) time to buy USD would be

around 13:00 ET if we do in fact move USD positive from the time

period indicated. I'll update with the tech lvls later on. Ciao.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas

Thanks!

Great posts for intraday traders (= me :) )

I am more familiar with the bonds (ZB05Z).

Is there a chance you could take a look at them (for a week or so)?

Natal 8/22/1977 10 am Chicago

FED 12/23/1913 9 am Washington

I would be especially interested what you see when you look at the

recent turning point.

Cheers

Prem and Valli,

Thank you. By the grace of God, I hope to be at least net correct.

Valli: I'm hardly one to be PC, but don't be offended because I am

adressing everyone's soul, not just the body :P

I agree that spiritual people should make money as well. Yet we find

that the majority of them are dirt poor and always in need of money.

Charity begins at home and wealth should never be abused. If a

person still has the potential for abuse of such wealth and he's

spiritually inclined, the universe has a 'funny' way of keeping him

in check until such a mature time that he can fully utilize wealth

for good without the abuse.

It looks like the second time period wasn't contingent on the other

being USD positive. EURO is supported at 1960 currently (tested as I

write this). Beneath that should test the previous day's lows in the

20's. Stay long on USD for now is my thought - over the few weeks we

can easily break through the 1.19 lvl and run down to 1570/1600.

Dear Vyas Munidas,

Hare Krishna.

As per Sastric Injunction a True Spiritualist is never interested to make

money and hence, the Spiritualist is always concerned to cultivate Spritual

life and engage others in the service to the Supreme Creator. That is the

only business a True Spritualist has. Nothing else.

really

maybe the term money is misleading with it's preconceptions. money is only a tool.

The Supreme Creator if supreme would not require any service from anyone so how can anyone engage in the service to him/her. Lord Krishna himself asks Arjun to fight/kill. But then later on Barrrrbareek says he only saw Krishna kill and being killed.

But this forum is not for religious dogma anyway. Amar Puri <satvac wrote:

Dear Friends,

It would be good to keep the subject just on Mundane Astrology.

Hi everyone.

I believe that we are near the zenith of this move against USD.

Technically, EURO looks toppy now. Safe play is to wait till after

5:30 pm ET today when the Mo/Sa conj is long past exactitude, and

the Ma/Ve aspect is at its zenith. If we move USD negative or

neutral after that, we may seean interest in USD after 10:30 ET

tomorrow.

Technically, if we have topped, 2020's is the area we should retrace

to for confirmation en route to the 1970's - a break there would be

inline with what the market is looking for and a channel failure.

Intraday downward trend line breaks should be taken as an indication

buy USD after 10:30 ET tomorrow.

Also, to the last few posts that were off topic, Jorge is absolutely

correct. We should keep the topics here as they should. If anyone

wants to discuss philisophy they should direct the email only to the

person in question. After all, this is a forum to discuss MUNDANE

affairs.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas.

Dear del iver,

Hare Krishna.

It is an individual choice as one chooses to do which is not a regligious

dogma. It is a reality when one comes to think about it. Take it as one

wishes according to one desires with the free will.

Knowing very well the critaria of this forum for discussion, I intend not to

answer your other question you put forth.

Best wishes and regards.......................Amar Puri.

Iver,

Yes, Vedic aspects only.

SP500 (spot) - I believe that 1205 is the max. Sideways is the short

term trend now.

SWISSY - 2845/60 is likely

EURO - minor resistance at 2090, 2020 is support, 2135 is fairly

strong resistance. Let's see after 10:30.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas

If anyone wants to discuss philisophy they should direct the email

only to the person in question. After all, this is a forum to

discuss MUNDANE affairs.

My latest view:

Thu Oct 28, 1:58 ET

EURO can fall to 2085 area on a break of 2120; 2020 remains a better

retracement target. Topside, 2200 is significant in this sideways

market and fair sized offers should come in there should it be met.

SWISSY has support at 2720 and resistance is eyed at 2790. A clean

break of support can easily take us to 2665. We may have some USD

weakness around 10am. After London closes up, we should move USD

positive. GOLD faces resistance at 474 and support at 463.50 area –

a break of which may take us to 450.

For this coming month for November, I see lots of USD strength.

Trade accordingly. A key level is 1.1600 on EURO.

hmarcw,

I haven't dealt in bonds. With each instrument that I tackle, I

spend a considerable amount of time getting a feel for its technical

behaviour in real time as well as backtested with transits in mind.

Perhaps one day I'll get into bonds.

I looked at the chart briefly (ASC 20 Vi 41) and from what I can

tell, you can investigate the planets Mars and Mercury as the main

determinants of traders who deal with bonds in a big way. All the

planets will have an effect, but these two are especially important,

(provided that I am looking at the correct chart). Do some

backtesting for when both of these planets are stong and unafflicted

and see what you come up with. Drop me a line here or on my priv

email, I'd love to know the results.

If that's correct, there should have been a gradual rise in this

instrument over the last few days (or least stability) and should

continue to rally to the end of this month. I can't give you the TA

since I'm not following it as mentioned.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas
