Guest guest
The west coast seems to be very seismic these days. And the Moon is at an angle from the Sun. This might portend a bigger quake around the full moon when there is more stress on the crust. Usually we see earthquakes somewhere around new and full moons due to this. This activity might also portent an eruption of Mt. Rainier. - Brian Jorge Angelino wrote: >http://news./s/ap/20050617/ap_on_re_us/california_earthquake;_y >lt=Aj4OMvTYg0kDFvhubeaN3OZG2ocA;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl > > > >YUCAIPA, California (AP) -- A moderate earthquake shook most of Southern >California Thursday, startling people and knocking items off shelves and >desks, but there were no immediate reports of significant damage or >injuries. > >The early afternoon quake had a magnitude of 4.9 and was centered near >Yucaipa in San Bernardino County, east of Los Angeles, according to the >U.S. Geological Survey.
