Guest guest
May 12, 2005 Authorities are looking into what caused a retaining wall above the Henry Hudson Parkway to collapse Thursday afternoon, sending tons of rocks and concrete onto the roadway just north of the George Washington Bridge. No one was hurt during the collapse, although police have closed northbound lanes north of 158th Street. The collapse, at 181st Street, sent a 150-foot section of the wall plunging into Riverside Drive and across the Henry Hudson Parkway at 4:15 p.m., partially burying at least one car that was parked on Riverside. Another car on the parkway was reportedly struck by debris, but drove away. http://www.ny1.com/ny1/content/index.jsp?stid=1 & aid=50840 Dear List Members, Dasha is Ve/Sa/Me/Ju/Ve.
