Guest guest
Dear Friends: This is the housing and travel information for those of you who are attending the IIPA USA Conference to be held here in Fairfield, June 11th.... If coming by airplane, please use the Cedar Rapids, Iowa airport, which is about 1.5 hour drive from Fairfield. If you let me know what time you arrive at the airport on Friday, June 10th, I may be able to make arrangements for your transportation to Fairfield, or you can rent a car if you want to. I have listed below some names and phone numbers of various hotels/motels. However, I recommend that everyone stay at the Rukmapura Park Hotel, located in Maharishi Vedic City, which is about a ten-minute drive from my office. I have already reserved a number of rooms there, as this is a very new, nice, and quiet facility, and it might be ideal for everyone to stay in the same place for convenience and to get to know each other better. (Maharishi Vedic City is built on the principles of Sthapatya Veda. All the homes and building face East and were designed in accordance with the principles of Vaastu.). Each of these rooms is a private suite, with kitchen, living room and bathroom, and includes a high speed Internet connection. These suites are regularly $129 per night, but I have made a special arrangement with the owner for $79 per night for conference attendees. If you want to stay there, or have any questions about the facility, please call them directly: 641-469-1919. Other facilties in the area include: The Raj (an Maharishi Ayurvedica health spa that has hotel rooms available).... 641-472-9580. There is also a Best Western Hotel in Fairfield, with an indoor swimming pool: 641-472-2200. And, there is a small hotel in town, called the Landmark Inn: 641-472-4152. I am looking forward to meeting with everyone. I am sure we are going to enjoy each other's company. Most importantly, I think this is a big step in our progress as professional astrologers and in building a Systems' Approach network here in USA. Best wishes, David Hawthorne, M.S., J.B.President, IIPAhttp://www.iipa.net
