Guest guest
HYDERABAD, India (Reuters) - Police searched for more bodies on Wednesday after firecrackers stored in a community hall exploded as dozens of people were inside, killing at least 18 people. The incident occurred late on Tuesday in Nuvvularevu village about 750 km northeast of the Andhra Pradesh state capital Hyderabad. The subsequent fire spread to neighbouring huts. " We suspect the death toll might go up, " said Y. Nagi Reddy, a police superintendent. " Over 70 people were present at the village community hall, where the explosion took place. It is completely demolished along with five other houses. " The firecrackers had been stored for use in a religious procession to occur after Monday's festival of Ramnavami, celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Hindu god-king Ram. Officials said Tuesday was the last day of the celebrations. http://story.news./news?tmpl=story & cid=1965 & ncid=731 & e=2 & u=/nm/20050420/india_nm/india_199724 Dear List Members, Dasha is Ve/Sa/Ju/Ju/Ve.
