Guest guest
Dear John..... Perhaps it is the end of Saturn's retrograde period, which has been running since Nov. 9th.... " Saturn transits Gemini from 26:29 to 26:28°, and goes direct on Mar. 21. (Saturn has been retrograde since Nov. 9. Look for news in the oil industry.) Guest guest
Dear John, Knowing that Saturn is the significator of things from earth (oil included), and looking to the natural Aries rising chart, we have now Saturn placed in Gemini, 29% old but retrograde (closer to earth) and almost stationary, occupying the natural house 3. As Gemini is a non-mooltrikona sign, the strength of Saturn does not depend on the strength of its dispositor. Saturn, being the natural ruler of house 11 (gains, profit), is placed in house 3 (initiatives, entrepreneurial nature), is in Taurus navamsha, which brings the matters of house 2 (wealth, prosperity) to the area of initiatives, and is in a nakshatra ruled by retrograde Jupiter. As Jupiter is placed in Virgo, this brings the matters of house 6 (sound financial position) also to the area of initiatives. Besides Saturn is “aspected” (non-SA) by stationary Ketu (sudden burst of energy, the “flag”, upwards direction) from house 6. If not all, at least some of these points may explain what is causing the price of oil to skyrocket. Hope it helps. Guest guest
Dear John, Saturn will enter its own nakshatra on the 25th June 2005, but we may see a change much before. On the 27th May 2005, it will enter Cancer (its strength will depend on the Moon's). On the 6th April 2005, it will leave Taurus navamsha. On the 21st March it will become direct, which means becoming older. During the two first weeks of May, the " aspect " of Ketu will be exact (non-SA). So, as we can see, many of the existing conditions will progressively change. It will be interesting to make a follow up to see if its progressive weakness will correspond to a fall of the prices. I think it will, but I can be wrong. Best wishes, Jorge johnm92008 [johnm92008] sexta-feira, 18 de Março de 2005 20:29 SAMVA Re: Price of Oil Thank you Jorge. Guest guest
hope oil gets to $300 ; that should be bring about it's death ! a lot of the patented alternate energy resources would come out of the oil companies closet that shouldn't surprise anyone but it will. we might all be surprised if i say oil companies run the world. any chance of oil getting really high ? reminiscing - how come oil wasn't one of the gems in the churning of the ocean leading to the emergence of malefics Rahu & Ketu ! there's so much free solar energy ... now any ideas which planet rules Solar energy .. Sun ? astrologically speaking how come we moved away from Sun to his son Saturn ? just reminiscing out loud iveramit gupta <vegasquared wrote: i am an oil trader.....the point is oil moves in cycles like in the 70's and 80's oil was pretty high ( moreover inflation was high) oil at $55 inflation adjusted is still cheap...so it means either oil continues higher or inflation or both my instinct says we're headed for both..reason.....markets always signal things in advance, sometime a few months in advance..... do not forget the US is at war...and for all intents and purposes, its a global war, one we have not seen the likes of in our lifetime......as cycles go, this is a big one and oil is heading near the $100 mark.... i am a trader so dont get caught into buying just coz I said its going to $100..... you need the time element...Use Jorge's info as a guide cheersBrian Conrad <jjyotish wrote: The realization that oil is a limited resource and that more countries that didn't use so much of it in the past (such as India) are starting to use more. Guest guest
Yes, I understand it is the economic growth that is fueling the demand in India. I saw this in a report recently. Again I see astrology as defining the " conditions " where the more mundane situations flourish. At other times given the same situation the planets might work against it. Guest guest
Hello my dear Brian, The growing demand in India is mainly because the multinationals are investing in India and US is outsourcing services in India because of the market and manpower resources. Saturn in Taurus and in Gemini appears to have given persistent rise to prices of the oil. I think the prices are likely to be comparatively stable when Saturn is in Cancer.
