Pakistan President orders release of 589 Indian prisoners

ISLAMABAD (AFP) - In a further gesture of

goodwill towards India, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf ordered the release of 589 Indian

prisoners.

Musharraf said that India had confirmed the

national status of 529 fishermen and 60 other civilians detained in Pakistan, who could be released

any time.

The move is one of a

series of peace gestures between Pakistan and India, who often arrest fishermen for straying into each other's territorial waters or

villagers who inadvertently cross land borders.

Earlier this month Musharraf

recommended that 800 Indian fishermen should be freed after completing

necessary legal formalities.

The gesture was made

during a meeting between Musharraf and the visiting chief minister of Indian

Punjab Amarinder Singh.

The Pakistani President

said the present atmosphere of goodwill between the two countries could be used

to resolve " substantive " issues, particularly the Jammu and Kashmir (news

sites) dispute and the Baglihar dam.

Kashmir, which is claimed by both, has been the source of two of three

wars between Pakistan and India since independence from Britain in 1947. The two countries last year resumed the dialogue after

coming close to their fourth war in 2002.

Both agreed last month

to start a bus service from April 7 between Srinagar in the Indian held part

of Kashmir and Muzaffarabad, capital of the Pakistani zone, primarily to

unite divided families.

Musharraf also called

upon India to adhere to the 1960 Indus Water Treaty brokered by the World Bank

sites) on sharing river systems. Pakistan has asked the World Bank to appoint a neutral expert to resolve

the row.

Islamabad says it fears the Baglihar dam on the Chenab river flowing from

Indian Kashmir to Pakistan could deprive its wheat-bowl state of Punjab of vital irrigation

water and charges it violates the water agreement.

Virgo, the running dashas are Ve/Mo/Mo/Ve/Ke. Natal Venus,

L2 (status), is closely conjunct with L6 (conflicts) in H11 (friends). Transit

Venus is badly placed in H6 and exactly under the 8th aspect (non-SA) of natal

Transit Moon is well placed in H9, closely conjunct with the natal Rahu/Ketu

axis. Natal Ketu is exactly conjunct with H3 (initiatives) and transit Ketu is

widely conjunct with transit MBP Jupiter, L4 in H1.

 

Natal Sun is closely afflicted by stationary

Rahu till June 2005, which will create some tension in prisons or with foreign

countries. This action sounds almost like a remedial measure to avoid problems

in future. The natal Moon is in a nakshatra of FBP Jupiter (charity), and natal

Venus is in a nakshatra of FBP Mercury. In navamsha, Venus is with Saturn in

H12 (prisons) and the Moon is with Jupiter in H4.

what a bunch of morons these 2 countries are !

the POME's set them up against each other b4 leaving and they have have cont'd against each other, fighting like cats and dogs. To make sure they never unite even the Americanos give Pakis "Aid" which really is aids !

Now to astro - how does one check how smart/dummy a country will be/is ?

which house tells us how corrupt or integrity a country will have ?

Dear del Iver,

 

In my humble opinion (as a student also),

a country is like a big individual. So everything that is valid for individuals

is valid for countries. Just on a bigger scale. A strong and unafflicted

Mercury makes a good collective intellect, a strong and unafflicted Jupiter/Sun/L5/L2

make an intelligent/creative collective consciousness, etc. Corruption has more

to do with the influence of Rahu/L12/L8 over the Sun/L1/L10, etc…even the

remedial measures to avert the danger that has not yet come, that are valid for

individuals, can be applied on a due scale to countries as well.
