Guest guest
This is of course much more than a very sad situation and expressing that in words does not really do justice to the terrible loss so many still living are suffering as a result of the Tsunami's affect on their lives. As many as a third of those lost were children, and those of us that are parents know how shattering such a loss would be to us all. Its an opportunity for the world to work together to try and help the people at this point, or at least for us all to feel united in our concern. I am just making some astrological observations here below. The chart for 1st january 2004 had saturn 15 gemini, mars 15 pisces, sun 15 sag. This year 2005 Mars is 10 scorpio, moon 12 leo, Uranus 9 Aquarius. Stress aspects between Mars, Sun, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto can consistently be found in earthquake charts. The next few years do not look any better. Although Jupiter is involved in some of the aspects and hopefully that indicates a relief from any catastrope. In the new year chart using 1st jan midnight (as opposed to the Chaitra Shukla chart which for the next 2-3 years is on an eclipse and also suggests dramatic events) we see stress aspects between the planets consistently the next few years. Jupiter may relieve the tension in some cases, 2007 for example has a Gajeshkari yoga. 2006: mars 17 aries, Saturn 16 Cancer, Neptune 22 Capricorn, Jupiter 19 Libra. Sun 16 Sag, Rahu 15 Pisces. Mars Square Saturn is difficult. But the chart is full of disparate aspects suggesting different things. Its harder to make a prediction when aspects are contradictory. 2007: Mars 24 Scorpio, Jupiter 14 Scorpio, Uranus 17 Aquarius, Rahu 25 Aquarius, Moon 10 Taurus. A Gajeshkari Yoga, and a square of it to Uranus may in fact be lucky (for some at least). 2008: Moon 20 Virgo, Mars 6 Gemini, Pluto 5 Sag, Jupiter 9 Sag, Sun 15 Sag. Also, Saturn 14 leo opposite Uranus 21 Aquarius, Rahu 6 Aquarius. Again Jupiters proximity is encouraging. Perhaps it would depend on whether Jupiter acts as a benefic for various ascendants. 2009: Saturn 25 leo, Uranus 25 Aquarius. Sun 16 Sag, Mars 9 Sag, Pluto 7 Sag. Here the Moons hemmed in between Venus and Neptune, very watery, spiritual even. Some of those aspects are spiritual, later when Sun, Mars, Moon, conjunct or square Saturn/Uranus difficulties are more likely at that time. Mars hemmed in between Pluto and Sun looks rather ominous. The lunation on 26 december 2004 for the Sri Lankan location shows the ascendant17 Cancer with Neptune 19 degrees Capricorn on the descendant. Additionally Neptune is sitting on the natal Sun of Sri Lanka (feb 4 1948 midnight) in the 4th house which rules disasters and Pluto is in the second house conjunct jupiter opposing Uranus in the natal eighth. Uranus is on natal Mercury in the 5th house. Fourth house rules holocausts and living conditions of people as affected by earthquakes, floods etc. Eighth rules perils to the people through natural disasters, famine, epidemics, and mortality of people. Of course, 5th rules children. As Uranus, Neptune and Pluto move slowly, it would be rare to find them all aspecting so closely natal planets at one particular time. Natal Sun 20 Capricorn in 4th house, transiting Neptune 19 Capricorn. Natal Mercury 8 Aquarius, Transiting Uranus 9 Aquarius. Transiting Mars 6 Scorpio. Natal Jupiter 28 Scorpio in 2nd, Natal Uranus 28 Taurus in 8th. Transiting Pluto 28 Scorpio. Sri Lanka was running Sun-Ketu-Mercury Dasa at time of Tsunami. Heres an article below ...... .. Coincidence! Major quake exactly 1 year ago Asia killer tops 26,000 death toll of Bam shaker also on Dec. 26 Is it just a striking coincidence? The 9.0 killer earthquake in Asia that unleashed tsunamis killing tens of thousands followed exactly one year to the hour after the Bam, Iran, earthquake that killed 26,000. On Dec. 26, 2003, a 6.6 quake hit the ancient city of Bam in Iran. While the quake was much smaller than the one that struck near the island of Sumatra Sunday, its epicenter was directly under the city. On Dec. 26, 2004, the 9.0 quake struck in South Asia. While the death toll will be much higher, most of the destructiveness was the result of the giant waves triggered by the earth's movement under the India Ocean. The 2003 quake hit at 01:56:52 UTC, while the 2004 quake struck at 00:58:55 UTC - exactly one year, 58 minutes apart. from dawn woodhouse
Guest guest
Hello Dawn, What to say, except that 26 adds to the number 8 numerologically. A powerful number. And December is a three, as in the trinity. The Sun is in Sagittarius, ruled by expansive Jupiter. Aloha, Sally Is it just a striking coincidence?
