Guest guest
Dear Pierre, Thank you for the charts. What I have seen with the chart of Portugal was that it has not changed with the end of monarchy and adoption of republic in Oct 5, 1910. What happened with Portugal was that for a period of around 60 years, the country lost its independence for Spain, so its initial charts from 1143 have “died” so to say. The actual chart is for the date when the country has regained its independence from Spain, Dec 1, 1640. Is something similar happening with France or not? Thanks in advance. Guest guest
reHello dear Jorge Your observation of the " death " of Portugal's chart following loss of independance would probably be seen also since France lost its independance in 1871 and 1940. I am working on this today checking them charts. It brings to mind that the country charts are not valid for everything about the country and its inhabitants. Something I cant quite name : the country's sense of its identity. I am sure the Portugese remained Portugese in their " mind " ou " spirit " even during invasion. They kept their historical sense of themselves, their culture, religion practices, their language. In France before, during and after the 2nd world war, some people have surely worked the same work throughout and survived with a similar life, to some extent. Not only do countries experience rebirth, perhaps they, or something about them, do not quite die. How can we then evaluate this planetary sense of the country self I do not know, but its there. Not to belittle our (and your) country charts since we do find them useful on economic an other event-oriented levels. Keep it up ... Guest guest
Dear Pierre, I agree with you. We still remain proud of existing since 1143, and our history goes back to those days and before, but the actual facts are explained by our chart from Dec 1, 1640. So we have reborn, so to say, on this Restoration of Independence Day. Good luck with your work! Guest guest
Dear Pierre, After doing some research and examining around 60 events, I came to the conclusion that modern France is being ruled by the chart of the Fifth Republic.
