Guest guest
Dear Thor and List, After analysing 5 possible dates, and gathering more than 80 events, a 6th date came to be the effective DOB of Canada. It is the 1st of January 1842, at 0:00 hrs, in Kingston, Ontario. This corresponds to the implementation of the Act of Union dated February 10, 1841, which created the Province of Canada. After trying to rectify the exact minute and second, I have observed that it is exactly 00:000000, which suggests that when a country is born by an Act of Union, the birth time that is enacted becomes the real time from which the events begin to happen for that country. This is very similar to what we know regarding choosing the right muhurta for any event. Another interesting note is that Canada was born when the Moon was just entering Poorva Shadya, a nakshatra ruled by Venus, which means that its first 20 years were ruled by Venus. Guest guest
Dear Chuck, It says in page 3 of The Act of Union (1840): " And be it Enacted That on and from the said First day of January One thousand eight and Forty-two the Province of Upper and lower Canada shall form and be One Province, and shall be called the " United Province of Canada " , and that shall be one legislature... " Please try to find the document. At this moment I am not able to find the direct link to it. I just have it printed in my process of rectification. Best wishes, Jorge wakefieldvedic [radiopro55] terça-feira, 14 de Setembro de 2004 01:27 SAMVA Re: CANADA rectified chart Dear Jorge and List: I have searched through many sources since your post on Canada's rectified chart and can find no reference to the Act of Union taking effect on January 1, 1842. It was passed in Great Britain in 1840 to come into effect on February, 1841 as you mentioned in your post. To quote one of the many Google sources on the subject " The Act of Union was sanctioned on July 23, 1840, by Queen Victoria and came into effect on February 10, 1841. " It is not my intention to be inappropriate with your rectification in any way, but please, how did you arrive at the January 1, 1842 date? With my best wishes, Chuck

I will now look at the dates you provided earlier and enter the transits to this chart. I am new to SA, so I was wondering if you could post the dates you used to rectify John Kerr's chart, so I could take a look at those transits and see the kinds of hits you used for the chart. Hoping this is not inconvenient.
