Writing a Sonnet is a first time experience for me....

Rhythmic warnings flash their jagged secrets

Hidden peril atop, the lighthouse stands

This resting place, tells past lives of regrets

Ill fated wreckage worn with shifting sands

Barbaric waves beat down with forceful rage

Scattering lustrous beads of salty spray

Like cornered beasts, retreat within their cage

Relentless tides lure travellers astray

Deafening roar amidst the moody skies

Energized turmoil cracks like torrid flares

Rugged silhouettes form as waves chastise

Untamed gales howl sombre sounds of nightmares

Emerging sunlight falls on waters calm

Rocks now glisten with incandescent charm
