Guest guest
OHM NAMO NAARAAYENAAYE Pranams Saumya, That what you propose seams to bear some logic in it. So in this way you propose it to reveal something in the horoscope, but no, I must tell you something: It is knowledge from the sages. The basic principle behind Parivartha, is exchange of Planets between Rasis in which they are placed. At first there is a connection established between a Planet in the Rasi, and the Lord of the Rasi in which the Planet is placed. The Planets start to cooperate. This relationship can be extended or is transmitted. This is a Sambhandana, between two Planets, and it is becomming usefull in expression during the period of the Planets in their Dasas when a Sambandhana is repeated in/on a different place, for example in a different Rasi. This happens when planet a is posited in Rasi 2 , and the Lord of Rasi 2 is placed in the Rasi of Planet a This is a real Sambandhana and it exists in Jyotish. Another thing is thesources of Strength. One of the Strengths of a Planet is exaltation.Exaltation is a source of strength obtained by a Planet when it is placed in a certain Rasi. Still stronger expressed: Exaltation is a source of strength obtained by a Planet by being placed in a certain degree of a certain Rasi. Not the whole of the Rasi gives the same strength to the Planet in objective. Guest guest
Dear Saumya, I hope to supply you with a satisfactory reply about the role that Saturn and Venus have to play. When Venus is placed in Libra; it means that Venus is in its own Sign (House). Hereby Venus gets strength by being in its own Rasi (House) This strengthens the Karakatwa of Venus; beauty, vehicles, spouse etc This also strengthens the properties of the House in which Venus is placed. (in this case I don’t know the House because I don’t know where Lagna is placed) Also the other House which is owned by Venus is strengthened. When Saturn is placed in Pisces; it means that Saturn is in a Sign belonging to Jupiter. Jupiter is a neutral Planet towards Saturn, so Saturn is not “badly” placed; in fact Saturn in a Sign of Jupiter is OK. This also means that when Jupiter (he is called the Depositor of Saturn), when Jupiter is strongly placed, Jupiter gives its strength unto Saturn. (This is a rule for all Planets in Houses/Signs). So now something is said about Venus and Saturn in relationship with the Sign in which they are placed. More can be said; and that is the place which the Planets occupy towards each other. Venus is in Libra and Saturn is in Pisces. Pisces is the 6th Sign from Libra and Libra is the 8th Sign from Pisces. This relationship is 6/8 which is a bad relationship. It shows that the outcome of the Karakatwa properties of Venus and Saturn work against each other. They don’t support each other. Next; There is a rule in the Dasa of Planets. This rule is an exception and it tells: The Dasa and Antara Dasa of Venus and Saturn will show opposite results. When these two Planets are badly placed, they will show beneficial results. And when they are good placed they will show bad results. One among the good and bad placements of the Planets is the relationship towards each other. (generally 6/8 and 2/12 will not show to give supportive effects, but with Venus and Saturn in eachothers Dasa this will give good effects) As an example the Stotra tells that a king, with well placed Saturn and Venus, will become a pauper in the Dasa/Antaradasa of Saturn and Venus and a poor man with badly placed Venus and Saturn will become rich, in the Dasa/Antaradasa Dasas of Venus and Saturn. This may be an answer to your question. Guest guest
Dear Job, Namskar, Wonderful. Few months back, I raised this issue of 6-8 relation of Sa-Ve in this forum . I was told by one of my friend regarding Ve-Sa relationship, but he couldn't give me the source of this rule. Could you kindly let me/us know the source of this sloka. Well, in my case Venus is in 5th house (Libra) and Sa is in 10th house (Pi). Incidentally, both these planets are exalted in D9 in Pi and Li respev. Ju who is Sa depositor is placed in 3rd house (Leo). I am currently running Sa mahadasa, ven antardasa will be coming in next year. Thank you again With personal regards Saumya job rodenburg <rodenburgjob wrote: Dear Saumya, I hope to supply you with a satisfactory reply about the role that Saturn and Venus have to play. Pisces is the 6th Sign from Libra and Libra is the 8th Sign from Pisces. This relationship is 6/8 which is a bad relationship. It shows that the outcome of the Karakatwa properties of Venus and Saturn work against each other. They don't support each other. > > Next; There is a rule in the Dasa of Planets. > This rule is an exception and it tells: The Dasa and Antara Dasa of Venus and Saturn will show opposite results. The last part is not clear to me. Are you suggesting that Venus in Libra and Saturn in Pisces which are basically their mutal exaltation sign will trasduce energy or strength during their dasa (Sa-Ve or Ve-Sa). I appreciate if you clear my vision.Thank you Best Saumyajob rodenburg <rodenburgjob wrote:OHM NAMO NAARAAYENAAYEPranams Saumya,That what you propose seams to bear some logic in it.So in this way you propose it to reveal something in the horoscope, but no, I must tell you something: It is knowledge from the sages. This happens when planet a is posited in Rasi 2 , and the Lord of Rasi 2 is placed in the Rasi of Planet aThis is a real Sambandhana and it exists in Jyotish. Another thing is thesources of Strength. One of the Strengths of a Planet is exaltation.Exaltation is a source of strength obtained by a Planet when it is placed in a certain Rasi.Still stronger expressed:Exaltation is a source of strength obtained by a Planet by being placed in a certain degree of a certain Rasi. Not the whole of the Rasi gives the same strength to the Planet in objective.JobTo: vedic astrology: saumya: Wed, 3 Oct 2007 11:01:58 -0700[vedic astrology] exchange of exalted sign- Rafal Ji and other learned membersRespected Rafal Ji and other learned members,Should it be considered as a planetary relation if two planets are in their mutual exaltation house. For example, Venus in Libra and Saturn in Pi. Thank you With personal regardsPranamSaumyaSaumya Ray ChaudhuriIMTECH,Sector 39A, Chandigarh-16003609417727654Catch up on fall's hot new shows on TV.
