Guest guest
Dear Gauranga, One of the first rules of judging the stronger of Aq and Sc states: (a) First see if one lord is in that sign. If so, other lord is stronger. For example, if Saturn is in Aquarius, then invariably Rahu should be taken as its lord. This is what I follow.....but as the rules are not final and binding ...you could try your variation. Please do let me know if by taking Rh as lord of Aq clarifies matters...in which case Aq will have 12yrs. Now for Cp...its lord is always Sa...and its debilitated....but Retro...this can also be looked upon as exception...I usually take it as debilitated and subtract an extra year for its debility. Out of the six signs if two belongs to > one lord, then starting antardasa signs are further reduced to 5 or 4 or 3. Yes, you are correct. If Ta and Li are stronger than Sc and Ar respectively, then antardasas in all the 4 dasas will start from the rasi containing Venus. However, antardasa progression can be different. If Li has Ketu in it, then Ketu exception applies and antardasa progression is reversed for Li and Ar dasas. Ta and Sc dasas will go as usual. > Is it correct? or Am I wrong? In fact, if those planets are in the same sign, then antardasas in all dasas may start from the same sign (i.e. just ONE sign)! For example, suppose Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are in Ar. Suppose Ar, Sc, Sg, Cp, Aq and Pi are stronger than the 7th from them. Then you can see that antardasas start from Ar in all dasas. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
Guest guest
Dear Narayan, namaste I am new to Narayan dasa and Sudasa. Could you do me a favor and have a look at my Narayan and Sudasa calculations for the chart below. I am turning to you because you seem to be expert in these dasas and volunteered to make corrections to Karus and others´ attempts. Date of Birth: March 29, 1971 Time of Birth: 2:28:00 pm Time Zone of Birth: 1:00 East of GMT Longitude of Birth: 9 E 56 Latitude of Birth: 49 N 48 Ascdt 29 Cn 26 Sun 14 Pi 44 Moon 23 Ar 14 Bharani 3 AmK Mars 16 Sg 47 Mercury 3 Ar 14 Jupiter ® 12 Sc 56 Venus 6 Aq 30 Saturn 26 Ar 29 Rahu 27 Cp 51 Ketu 27 Cn 51 Narayan dasa: Cn 71-74 Ge 74-84 Ta 84-93 Ar 93-2001 Pi 01-05 Aq 05-14 Cp 14-22 Sg 22-33 Sc 23-31 Li 31-35 Vi 35-40 Le 40-45 Antardashas in Pisces Narayan dasha: Sc,Lib, Vi, Le, Cn, Ge, Ta, Ari, Pis, Aq,Cp, Sg Sudasa: Srilagna: 16 Vi 19 Vi 29/3/1971-10/7/1973 Ge 10 years Pi 4 years Sg 11 years Le 5 years Ta 9 years Aq 9 years Sc 8 years Ca 3 years Ar 8 years Cp 8 years Li 4 years Sequence of Antardashas in Leo Dasha: Le,Ta,Aq,Sc,Cn,Ar,Cp,Li,Ge,Pi,Sg,Vi Regards and I hope I am not bothering you to much Anantarupa
Guest guest
Dear Anantarupa, I believe your post was addressed to me. Please find my comments below: > Narayan dasa: > > Cn 71-74 > Ge 74-84 > Ta 84-93 > Ar 93-2001 > Pi 01-05 > Aq 05-14 > Cp 14-22 > Sg 22-33 > Sc 23-31 > Li 31-35 > Vi 35-40 > Le 40-45 > > Antardashas in Pisces Narayan dasha: > > Sc,Lib, Vi, Le, Cn, Ge, Ta, Ari, Pis, Aq,Cp, Sg > The calculation of years for the dasa's are all correct. But the sequence is incorrect!!! You are right in that Cn is stronger than Cp. So Cn initiates the sequence. But, notice the presence of Ke in the initaiting sign Cn!!! Thus Ke exception comes into act and by its very nature Ke will reverse the direction and hence the progression will be Zodiacally, like so: Cn, Le, Vi etc. One more thing, you have alloted 8yrs to Ke, as you must have considered Ke to be stronger than Ma. Gurudev in one of his posts mentioned that aspect of Ju on nodes reduces its powers. So in this case, Ma is stronger than Ke, and hence Sc will contribute only 1yr in the first cycle. I will just go ahead and list, for the benefit of all the members, the sequence and the number of years contributed by each, both in the first cycle and the second. CYCLE #1 -------- Cn : 71 - 74 Le : 74 - 79 Vi : 79 - 85 Li : 84 - 88 Sc : 88 - 89 Sg : 89 - 2000 Cp : 00 - 08 Aq : 08 - 17 Pi : 17 - 21 Ar : 21 - 29 Ta : 29 - 38 Ge : 38 - 48 CYCLE #2 -------- In the 2nd cycle the number of years contributed by signs will be -------------------------------- ( 12 - ( number of yrs contributed by sign in the first cycle ) ) -------------------------------- Cn : 48 - 57 Le : 57 - 64 Vi : 64 - 71 Li : 71 - 79 Sc : 79 - 90 Sg : 90 - 91 Cp : 91 - 95 Aq : 95 - 98 Pi : 98 - 2106 Ar : 06 - 10 Ta : 10 - 13 Ge : 12 - 15 > Sudasa: > > Srilagna: 16 Vi 19 > > Vi 29/3/1971-10/7/1973 > Ge 10 years > Pi 4 years > Sg 11 years > Le 5 years > Ta 9 years > Aq 9 years > Sc 8 years > Ca 3 years > Ar 8 years > Cp 8 years > Li 4 years > > Sequence of Antardashas in Leo Dasha: > > Le,Ta,Aq,Sc,Cn,Ar,Cp,Li,Ge,Pi,Sg,Vi > > Regards and I hope I am not bothering you to much I think your calculations are incorrect. If you would have re-produced the steps, I could have pointed out the error. Here is how I calculate: La : 29Cn16 Mo : 23Ar14 Fraction : ( 09d 54m / 13d 20m ) * 360 : ( 09d 54m ) * 27 : 267d 18m La + Fraction : 119d 16m + 267d 18m : 386d 34m SL : 26Ar34 Ar : ( 03d 26m / 30 ) * ( 8 yrs ) : 0y 10m 30d Progression: ------------ Ar( 03/29/71 - 02/29/72 ) Cn( 2/72 - 5/ 72 ) Li( 5/72 - 5/76 ) Cp( 5/76 - 5/84 ) Ta( 5/84 - 5/93 ) Le( 5/93 - 5/98 ) Sc( 5/98 - 5/99 ) Aq( 5/99 - 5/08 ) Ge( 5/08 - 5/18 ) Vi( 5/18 - 5/23 ) Sg( 5/23 - 5/34 ) Pi( 5/34 - 5/38 ) The second cycle will be calculated in the same way as demonstrated above in Narayana Dasa, with the sequence of Sudasa. Hope this helps, Regards -Narayan
Guest guest
Respected Sir(s), Namaste. I have a question regarding Narayana dasa. When ND starts from 7th house, the results of the dasa are to be ascertained 7th from the Dasa rasi, right? In my case, I am currently running Libra ND for rasi chart which is 11th house. But since 7th house is strong, the dasas started from 7th house. So the results of Libra ND should be ascertained from Aries i.e., Aries is the dasa rasi now, is this right? Also, Moon (AK) is in Aries, so a period of lessons/trials is to be expected? How to judge the Antardasa then? Per JHora, the current ND period is Libra - Cancer. So it should be read as Aries - Capricorn or Aries - Cancer. I'd really appreciate your answer. Regards, Archana Luggage? GPS? Comic books? Check out fitting gifts for grads at Search. Guest guest
*hare rama krsna* Dear Archana, Namaskar #1 Yes, it should be from Aries in that case. #2 AK shows lessons and trials in Vimshottari, in ND it shows important time. #3 AD should be read normally so its Aries-Cancer.
