systems to power Microsofts commercial business globally supporting internal

clients across Enterprise, SMS & P, Marketing, Licensing, Microsoft.com,

Education, and many others. The Ops excellence ARCHITECTURE INCUBATION team

develops proofs-of-concept (POCs) and builds incubations that help define,

validate and communicate the Ops Center of excellence Platform for managing

customer and partner relationships, and will form the foundation of the Ops

excellence organization for the next 5 to 10 years, helping Microsoft be a

key player in the Software + Services world. Designation

Technology Architect Desired Profile Technology Consulting

Hands on experience with the latest Microsoft products, development of

usable integration services, solving complex technical issues, Contribute

with his/her technical and functional expertise to feasibility evaluation

through Proof-of-concepts, Solution architecting, benchmarking, and initial

solution architecture / scope definition of projects, technical presentations

and written reports for publication to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Architectures

Delivery of complex solutions to issues which might include but are not

limited to Solution Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance,

Reliability & Scalability. Evangelize how specific technologies, standards,

methods and techniques are to be used throughout the community.

 

Implementation

Design and implement larger research and proof of concept projects as an

individual contributor, focusing on one or a small number of technologies or

applications to be implemented into a larger platform. Establish patterns and

practices, setting standards and guidance for using the core integration

platform and competencies. Proven track record of delivery in challenging

business, technology environments. Development and design experience with

service oriented architectures is strongly preferred. The main focus should

be on integration solutions leveraging key Microsoft technologies as the

backbone.

 

Design for complex applications met requirements and were scaleable,

incorporated effective trade-offs, identified all dependencies, ensured

reliability, supportability, availability, and accounted for compatibility,

flexibility, extensibility, and globalization as well as performance and

operation through the life of the application

Design for complex applications adhered to security and privacy standards

Design for complex applications ensured that the code was testable

independent of other applications, which enabled ease-of-testing, isolation

of defects and lowered costs

Drive architectural and design reviews for complex applications; reviews

surfaced key issues, improved quality and/or enabled faster completion of

milestones

 

Technical

-Strong fundamentals .NET architecture / proficiency in any OO

programming, Agile concepts,

-Good to have sound knowledge on Enterprise Architecture

-Software Process (PSP) and Team Software Process (TSP)

 

Other requisites

-Sound program management, analysis, problem resolution, team building,

judgment and decision making skills required

-Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and new techniques

-Experience on international projects and cross-functional leadership

skills is a must

-Able to travel as required

 

Additional skills..

Education and Experience:

1)Highly proficient & solid Customer facing Project experience involving

technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning,

development and deployment

2)10 + years of experience in a technology architecture or consulting

role.

Experience in leading huge development teams (more than 20)

Experience working in a structured Software Development Life Cycle.

Atleast one full SDLC cycle project experience.

Experience 10 - 14 Industry Type Software Services Functional
