Designation Security Developer Desired Profile Software

development on UNIX/Linux

 

Experience in managing Solaris/Linux Security.

Know-how of UNIX OS concepts (User administration, Run levels, System

Security, NFS, Inetd etc)

Know-how of Shell Scripting & UNIX packaging.

Exposure to Security tools like Nessus/Nmap/CIS Scan/Ethereal.

Know how of Vulnerability scanning and CERT security handling.

Knowledge of SDLC & Development Process.

Desirable Skills

 

Programming knowledge in C.

Security Certifications and working knowledge of Sun Cluster systems would

certainly be an advantage.

Knowledge on OEMs like Oracle, Emanate, Apache Web servers would be an

added advantage.

Knowledge on Single sign-on, Authentication, Encryption, IDS, Firewalls,

JASS and Bastille would also be an added advantage

Working knowledge of Clear Case and CM Tools.

Exposure to Unit testing framework such Sh Unit, C Unit etc.
