I rejoined today just to refute some charges

Dear list:

 

Shri Narayan Iyer requested me to rejoin and continue my services here

immediately after banning Mr. Lalit. When I tried to rejoin, I saw

that the shameless fellow had sneaked in with another ID. i thought

that if I rejoin, it will cause more turmoil, and hence stayed away. I

thought that at least by not reading the posts alleging something or

other against me, I will gain peace of mind. But today some group

members have sent me mails to say that another person Mr. Sushil

Dikshit has also joined Mr. Lalit in his baseless allegations. I must

refute it as I have already lost much due to this unsavoury episode.

 

1) Truth about Lalit's episode: He approached me for marital

counselling; I had given ample points - I clearly said that there is

possibility of marriage in the coming year, but he has to change his

attitude for that to happen. I had clearly foreseen psychic

disturbances in his life, and suggested remedy taking this into account.

He asked for concession, I gave it thinking he probably cannot afford it

(He even claimed that he does not have a credit card; but now he claims

that he earns 75000 per month!) He kept on asking query after query

far exceeding my consultation rates. Still I thought I will do my best

to satisfy him; the exchange turned sour only because he was abusing my

generosity by literally " stalking " my mail box, asking queries without

any end, and on top of it accusing me of being " unprofessional "

(because I refused to share my phone no. with him as I thought he is a

mad man who will keep on calling me; many members say he has done that

to them already flooding their mail boxes with spam mails and sending

unsolicited SMSs). I being an astrologer knew his character and hence

refused my phone no. This made him wild. Then he wanted to know how I

predicted the event of psychic disturbance; I refused it on Prashna

ethics of which most in this group will not be aware. NOT ALL

KNOWLEDGE IS IN BOOKS..... MUCH IS STILL LEFT IN ORAL TRADITION. Even

Shri. P.V.R. Narasimha Rao has personally written to me once to post on

chara kaarakaas last year....in astrological subjects, much depends on

interpretation as the real classics are shrouded in traditional

usages. Donkeys who swear by printed versions will remain only donkeys

and will be no match to the real horses handtrained by traditional

instructions. He could not succeed in fooling me into revealing such

traditional secrets by emotional blackmail. If he had requested humbly

and as a student, I would have helped him. His attitude prevented me

from sharing sensitive prashna techniques as I was sure that he will

misuse it. He sent unnecessarily critical mails which prompted me to

share that experience before this forum thinking that those well-versed

in prashna ethics can put some wisdom into him. It is like a doctor

bringing a medico-legal case to the medical council. There is no

transgression of privacy or ethics in this though this fellow harps on

this issue and makes people think that I have shared a private mail

here. In fact, I have still not shared all his stupid mails here. I

dare him to publish all the mails here so that he will get exposed and

people will know how patient I was in handling his near " insane "

and " incoherent " behaviour. (when I read the group posts today to

prepare my reply, I found he is lying that he asked a single question!

If he had asked a single question, I would have charged him only

Rs.300! He asked many queries and sent repeated mails all of which were

replied promptly by me to guide him. I even guided him regarding some

ritual performance on a purely honorary basis. He is distoring facts

repeatedly).

 

2) Mr. Sushil Dikshit - who has recently joined the Bandwagon with Mr.

Lalith declaring " Panditji was using Fake IDs " ....How did he suddenly

decide on this? What proof he has? nothing...yet he will say.

 

But I have a proof that his saying that I do not give honorary readings

is false. He himself is a recipient of one such honorary instruction.

He had approached me for health reading of his father who is suffering

from consumption. I quoted my charges. He did not even have the basic

decency to either say " Panditji I am not able to afford it currently " ,

or something like that if he could not afford it. He kept quiet.

Still, on humanatarian grounds I sent the remedy for that (from

Soundarya Lahiri) clearly mentioning " economic considerations should

not deprive you of my service and so I am sending the suggestion " . He

did not even acknowledge it. I was wondering what was happening! Now,

today when I try to rejoin the group, his poison mail is waiting for me

in the group. He " confirms " Mr. Lalit's allegation as if he has proof,

and he reinforces with further charges...

 

Is charging persons for professional consultations a sin? Then how

will I eat? Do I have kings as in days of old to give me honoraria to

support me so that I can offer free services with my knowledge? The

hard fact is that when I was learning astrology full-time and had no

means of livelihood without a single paise earning, this government did

not offer subsidy...now when I earn, I am paying taxes! That is the

kind of support we astrologers get from Government today! Yet, if an

astrologer charges, immediately those who cannot pay that will brand

him as a fraud! Consultants of all fields can charge; but astrologers

should not charge! what logic is this? Do these two persons want

astrologers to beg on the street? An amateur astrologer with another

profession to support has no moral right to criticizse a professional

astrologer especially one like me who is adhering to a vedic pattern of

life that has taken a heavy toll on me in my personal life. I have

stood true to my principles refusing to change myself or compromise my

principles. Which astrologer I have ever put down in this group? Even

assuming Mohanraamji is a relative or friend of mine, how many

astrologers here had trouble with him. Hardly 2 or 3! How thoughtless

these people could be! THE TRUTH IS THAT I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER

MOHANRAAMJI THOUGH HE MIGHT BE AN ADMIRER. WHAT IS MORE...I AM

DEFINITELY NOT MOHANRAAAMJI. This is the truth.

 

3) They are saying that my business is here. IT IS FALSE. WITHOUT

IMPLYING ANY DISRESPECT TO THIS GROUP LET ME ASSERT THIS.....This group

does not have even 8000 members; but I am a Council Member in some

forums where the membership is nearing 3 lakhs! Some honourable

members of this group are members there also. They will know it. I am

unable to contribute fully even to that recently due to my

preoccupations. So, when I don't have the time to look after existing

business interests, what is the need for me to try to " coax " and " find "

business in a much smaller group? Use your common sense accusers

before you lift that cursed forefingers which you use to point at

anyone thoughtlessly!

 

Another declaration I can make.....My total business from this group

members in so many years I have been associated with Vedic Astrology

group is just around fifty thousand which is much less than what Mr.

Lalit earns per month. I have given more honorary consultations which

si not business. I had no necessity to rub shoulders with amateur

astrologers and students to improve my business. THEY ARE SIMPLY

ALLEGING FALSEHOODS WITHOUT ANY BASIS. I a person who charges heftily

for even one hour consultations have spent many hours here on a purely

honorary basis just for sharing my knowledge to astro learners.

 

I have quit the group. I have posted again only because I have a moral

right to be here (I said that if Mr. Lalit is banned my option of

coming back is open; he has been banned not once but twice!). I am not

going to continue in this group because this group cannot function like

before. I am deeply pained and I just do not have the motivation left

to continue here. I have posted to make things clear.

 

One small request to everyone....NEVER ALLEGE ANYTHING WITHOUT PROOF.

Reputations are fragile. To tell the truth some members of this group

who had actually wanted to consult me were so upset by these exchanges

that they admitted to having developed doubts upon me. If the matter

is true, I deserve it. But if it is false, can you undo the damage

done to my reputation? It is another matter that majority of this

group believes me and still respects me. But what about someone new

and who just happens to browse those poisonous allegations? It is a

life-long black mark for me you have awarded without the least proof

and that too after my persistent denials of those allegations. Think of

this.

 

There is no need to ban Lalit anymore. It makes no sense. Such decent

acts will work only upon decent people. He deserves a punishment from

karmic forces which they will definitely give for the injustice and

torture he has meted out to a honest man. Remember, he has been always

saying he was " forced " to " expose " only because he was

challenged...what does that mean? if I had not upset him, he would

have been happy to let me continue even if I had exploited people. Now

that I upset him, he will not rest till he destroys me completely even

if I am honest and truthful. Such is the rowdy who has sneaked in here

recently. It is below my level to enter into a fight with such an

element. As one member rightly pointed out " I cannot run behind every

barking dog! " Let the dog bark its fill and then whimper in its

corner. After all it is a street dog and not a pedigree breed, and the

dog van will one day come for it and neuter it!
