Your frnt was running venus -rahu period ,if u see

rahu was 8th (house of breaks ) from the karaka for marriage venus and

moon the indicator of mind from kerala astrological principles

 

Also rahu can giv the effect of saturn who is placed in 4th house of

family happiness(sanivat rahu) also the planet aspecting 5th lord

(romance ) in 7th marriage ) and 6th (troubles) in nakshatra of mars

(being 8th lord breaks and lagna lord -self)

 

rahu in the 7th has given marriage and the other points afflicted along

with rahu given break in marriage .His chart indicating mutiple
