Guest guest
Dear friends, Mr Nayyar has raised certain queries in myarticle in the book Varga Chakra. My reply is given below for comments and guidance; I am glad that you have raised these queries as some basic concepts are hidden in the analysis of the nativity under reference. My Guru and friend Mr. Sanjay Rath is also not in agreement on the issue of true nodes. Example horoscope has reference on page 115 of the book “VARGA CHAKRA”, the birth details are as under: DOB-23Apr.1937, at 16.31hrs. IST, 79E.24; 28N21 True chitrapakcha Ayanamsa-22-58-14.38” True Ketu-22Ta 55 46.72” in Cancer Navamsa Lahiri Ayanamsa-22-59-10.38” Mean Ketu-24 Ta 36 03.71” First of all let me explain the reasons of variation in above values; A. AYANAMSA Even according to Lahiri’s Ephemeris page 5, Zero point of Aries was commenced from V.E.POINT which occurred on March22, of285A.D. At that moment nirayana longitude of the star Chitra(Spica)was 180deg, 00’ 03.0”. Again Lahiri says that, however, longitude of star Chitra is diminished by 60” during the period1722 years from 285A.D, This is an Astronomical observation, which can be verified easily. THIS simply means, TRUE CHITRAPAKCHYA AYANAMSA can only be obtained by deducting 57” (Fifty seven secs.) from the Ayanamsa value adopted by Lahiri for the present epoch. The definition of Vedic Ayanamsa may, therefore, be as under: True Chtrapakchaya Ayanamsa = Tropical longitude of Star Chitra – 180deg. YOU may observe that Lahiri’s Ephemeris does not show nirayana log. of CHITRA as 180deg.but 179-59-03”, on account of above discrepancy. In my article on “Vargottama Vargas”, I have Conclusively shown that a correction of 57” some times makes a vital difference. Let give it a try. B. TRUE V/S MEAN NODES With the help of mean nodes, the mean positions of all planets are calculated. After this step, True positions of all the planets are deduced. However, it was not possible to calculate the True positions of nodes on account of rapid changes in the orbit of Moon round the earth. Now modern Astronomy is able to develop the means to calculate the true position of nodes. When only mean nodes were known, where was the choice? Mean nodes do not exist. Let all of give a try to TRUE NODES. I assure, you WILL GET FANTASTIC AND MUCH BETTER PREDICTIVE RESULTS by adopting true nodes. In the example horoscope, analysis is done based on true nodes as such Ketu should be in Cancer Navamsa. (In the book mean Ketu is shown). C. As regards your second query, Saturn is aspecting Lagna and Moon both by planetary and sign aspects.Lagna and Moon are also in the Drekkana of Saturn. This generates a powerful yoga. Similarly, Mars and Venus are in mutual sign aspect in D-1 chart. In navamsa chart, Mars is in Libra and aspects navamsa Lagna. This also generate a yoga. Kindly refer chapter 39 ‘RAJ YOGAS’ IN BPHS,. and SLOKA 4 Ch19 of Brihat Jaataka. I hope this may answer your queries Regards G.K.GOEL G.K.GOEL Ph: 09350311433 Add: L-409, SARITA VIHAR NEW DELHI-110 076 INDIA Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage.
