Guest guest
|| Jai Guru Datta|| Namaste to respected gurus and elders! My doubt is regarding the calculation of Ista, Paalana and Dharma Devatas in case(s) when 9th and 12th houses from AtmaKaaraka in Navaamsa are empty. My case is an example of this situation. My birth details are: Time of Birth - 00Hr 29Min 15Sec (5H:30Min East of GMT i.e., Indian Standard Time) Date of Birth - 2nd Dec 1972 Place of Birth - Secunderabad, India (Long: 78deg 30min E; Lat: 17deg 27min N) From the very limited reading done so far, I have come across two methods of calculation: 1. Consider the Lord of the empty house as the indication of the respective Devata. That is lord of 9th house (from AK) indicates Dharma Devata and lord of 12th house (from AK) indicates Ishta Devata. 2. Calculate the Rasi Drishtis on the House under consideration (i.e., 9th from AK, or 12th from AK, or 6th from AmK) and then decide based on the Strongest Rasi aspecting the House (and the planets occupying that Rasi). I request the respected gurus to kindly clarify the following: A. Which of the above methods I need to follow. B. I also read that 'Chamunda Devi' is the Devata assigned for Ma+Ra combination. In that case, who are the Devatas assigned to Sa+Me, and Su+Ra (and other prominent) combinations? I once again request the respected gurus and elders to forgive this infant's ignorance and kindly clarify my doubts. With Best Regards, Gowri Shankar ______________________________\ ____ oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links. http://mobile./mobileweb/onesearch?refer=1ONXIC
