Dear Shri. Dheeraj:

Upaasanaas should reflect the purpose of the aspirant. The 5th house is

mantra bhava and that will reflect the mantra that is somehow or other related

to the lineage of the native (or related to the relative through saadhanas in

previous incarnations). Calculating Ishta Devata through 12th from kaarakaamsa

is useful for identifying the personal deity if the person does not show a

marked preference for any particular deity but is interested in availing an

astrological perspective to identify the same. The logic of suggesting a Deity

or saadhana related to the 9th house is that 9th house offers vipareetha argala

to the planets in the 2nd house (planets in the 2nd house from a bhava improve

that), and thus may cause obstacles. 9th is otherwise a good house - being a

bhaagya sthaana indicating Higher Education, Dharma, Grace of Guru, etc. In

addition, 9th house is the bhaavaath bhaavam of the 5th house...is it not? So,

propitiating the planets associated with 9th

house will give improvements in life and remove obstacles for persons who have

been suffering inexplicable delays and obstacles in life for no apparent reason.

Generally, an astrologer should listen to the symptoms (life events as

narrated by clients), and then try to suggest remedies in consonance with the

horoscope.

In your case the following remedies will work:

1) Pournami Pooja to remove the depressive influences of Moon in 8th house.

2) Special worship to Lord Dakshinamoorthi/ or performance of Vyaasa Pooja on

Guru Poornima to improve the luck arising out of Vipareetha Raja yoga of Jupiter

in the 12th house with ketu. (yati saapa influences can be overcome by this).

3) Worship of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha with devotion regularly and especially

on Thursdays, and swaati nakshatra days. You can chant the karaavalambha

sthothram/ Runa Vimochana sthothram for financial stability and increase in

opportunities.

4) The 78th slokha of Shri Vishnu Sahasranaamam is the specific mantra for

your horoscope.

Dear Panditji

In the case of the being no planets in the 9th hse then the deities

for which planets would be best to worship? The one for the lord of

the 9th or the ones for the planets aspecting the 9th?

Dear Member:

First let me clarify that the suggestion of deity worship based on

9th house planets was specifically for persons experiencing " things

go well initially but tumble at the last post! " syndrome.

As I have written in the mail to Shri. Dhiraj, identification of

deities must be in consonance with the purpose - whether it is for

Aatma Saakshaatkaaram (self - realization and evolution of the

soul), mantra siddhi, acquiring wealth, or removing obstacles from

profession.

The planetary aspects of horoscopes are unique to an individual and

only combining the life experiences (how the planetary influences

have manifested in the native's life) and the horoscope, we can

identify the best remedies. Planets influence our lives in myriad

ways.

Now, assuming that your situation is similar to the situation

expressed by the other members having the inexplicable obstacles

spoiling things at the last moment, and a general pattern of

unreasonable and inexplicable failures in reaching goals even after

taking efforts, let me explain your case....

If there is no planet in the 9th house, first point is - there will

be no vipareetha argala to the 10th house influences at all! i.e.

there will be no need to propitiate the deity concerned for removing

professional obstacles. But, if your motive is to do tapasya and

get guidance of Deities in your life, you can worship the Deity

signified by the 9th house lord, or the Deity signified by the

strongest planet aspecting the 9th house. Getting a Guru Deeksha

for a mantra corresponding to such a deity will be good for your

life. Now, that I have said what Deity's mantra can be got as

upadesha, in reality when you approach a Guru for Deeksha, it is

His/ Her prerogative to decide what is best for you. The Guru's

intuition will be a better guide than even astrological

considerations in this regard, though usually there is a clear

compatibility and agreement between the Guru's desire to give you a

mantra and the mantra house significations in your horoscope.

From your below reply as

1.Here the aspect means is it planetry aspect(for example Guru as 5,7,9th

houses) or rasi aspect?

2.I never know that the rasi aspects are taken into account in any of the

Tamil jyotish books and only the planet aspect is considered...

3.In the conjunction from Uttarkalamirta the planets are considered to be

joined if only the planets are within 12deg... Is it practically applicable and

any other Jyotish classics support this...Did you follow this..

Please clarify.
