Respected Gurus, Seniors and Group Members,

 

Many Namaste to all! I am re-sending this request for

your kind and immediate analysis and guidance.

 

My name is Gowri Shankar and I have joined this group

recently. I have started learning Jyotishyam and I am

at a very initial stage. I find the discussions in

this group to be intense and I am very excited to

practice and learn from them.

 

At the outset, I request for the divine guidance of

the learned and experienced gurus and seniors

regarding our Lord Shiva temple matter.

 

My birth details:

 

Time of Birth - 00Hr 29Min 15Sec (5H:30Min East of GMT

i.e., Indian Standard Time)

Date of Birth - 2nd Dec 1972

Place of Birth - Secunderabad, India (Long: 78deg

30min E; Lat: 17deg 27min N)

 

Regarding the temple matter, with the grace of Lord

Shiva and blessing of our gurus and elders, I was

fortunate to have constructed Lord Shiva (Shiva

Panchaayatana) temple in our locality. The Vigraha

Pratishtha was performed on Feb 11, 2007.

 

As per my (which I sincerely believe is Lord Shiva's

blessing) sankalpam, we are performing trikaala

abhishekam to Lord Shiva in accordance with prevailing

aagamas, since the pratishtha.

 

Now since few weeks, some of our locality people

started to interfere and pressurize me to dilute the

aagama rules, aiming at COMMERCIALIZATION of the

temple. I am totally against their bad motive and

ready to do whatever is needed to be done to uphold

the sanctity of poojas.

 

My question to the gurus and elders in this group is

to analyse (my horoscope) the reason(s) for this

confrontation and guide me with the future course of

action(s).

 

My last resort is to refer the temple to State

Government (Endowments Department). The members

knowing the functioning of government departments in

India would agree with me that the Endowments

Department is not un-corrupt!

 

Hence I request all the gurus, and seniors to kindly

look into this matter immediately and provide me your

divinr guidance.

Next, we have not conducted ashtamangala prasna in the

temple. Yishunji, I am not aware of ashtamangala

parsna. I request you kndly enlighten me about it.

You said the Vigraha Pratishtha was performed at 8:43 am

(IST)on Feb 11, 2007. I take it the temple built in

Secunderabad. There are rules governing muhurthas for

installing a deity. I verified whether it was followed.

 

1. Done in the lunar month of Magha which is prohibited;

2. Nakshatra Anuraadha is not accepted;

3. Lunar thithi Krishna Navami is no good. Some more

maranayoga on that day.

4. Common sign asc. is not for male deity

5. Bhadakesh Mercury associated with Rahu and Venus

indicating wrath of sarpa.

 

Current VSM dasa Saturn AD Mercury operating. Both are

placed in 6/8 position besides Mercury is bhadakesh. All

the above indicate there could be dispute concerning the

temple as good muhurtha was not selected. I am not clear

about the problem you had mentioned in your mail.

 

Find out any killing of snake/bird happened during

construction of the temple. If so perform pariharam.

 

Ashtamangala Prasna is a horary performed with 8 auspicious

items to find out exact problem and performing remedial

measures. This is practised by kerala numboothiris. Prasna

Marga give details.

 

I did perform a prasna using 108 cowries, Root Number I got

was 5-2-5. indicating good past, difficult present and good

future. Current is represented by the planet Mars which can

contribute to quarrel, trouble and fire. Any way no need to

worry as the future is good namely Venus indicating good

income.

 

By the way temples can be run if income is generated. Go

any temple including Balaji at seven hills the richest

temple money is a matter.

 

I wish learned Gurujis who are well versed with prasna to

offer their views and give comments to the above.

Respected Yishunji,

 

A million thanks from bottom of my heart for the

analysis and guidance. I request all the other

respected gurus and elders to also provide their

analysis and inputs as requested by Shri. Yishunji.

 

1. I feel very sad about the fact that we have

performed the pratishtha in such a muhurtham with all

the limitations/short-comings that you have listed.

Though we were not knowledgable enough to know the

limitations of the pratishtha muhurtham, I believe

that it is a mistake committed by us. I request Shri.

Yishunji and other respected gurus, to kindly suggest

us remedial measures for this mistake.

 

2. Regarding killing of snake/bird during construction

of temple, to best of my knowledge nothing of that

sort had taken place. However, I would like to mention

here that we had to relocate the Naagapratima as part

of the temple construction. Please note that we have

followed poojas (kalaavarohanam and kalaanyaasam etc.)

prescribed by the purohit for relocation of

Naagapratima.

 

3. Also kindly note that we had to remove two

Ashvattha trees as part of the temple construction.

These trees were also removed after prescribed poojas

were performed.

 

4. I request Shri. Yishunji and other gurus/seniors to

kindly read the temple background and current problems

being faced, explained in the following paragraphs and

guide me accordingly.

 

This temple premises had only Bala Hanuman temple,

initially. For past 40 years, our village people used

to offer poojas to Hanumanji themselves (without

archaka). In 2004 (muhurtham at 9:23 am on April 05,

2004), Shri. Bala Hanuman vigraha punah-pratishtha was

performed. Since then, the poojas are offered to Shri.

Bala Hanuman by a duely appointed archaka.

 

In 2005-2006, our locality people decided to build

Shirdi Sai, Lord Shiva and Navagraha temples in the

existing temple premises. I was approached for

building the Lord Shiva temple, which I accepted as a

blessing of Lord Shiva. However, I accepted to

contruct the temple on the conditions that (a) aagamas

rules would be strictly followed (like strictly NO

ENTRY for bhaktas into garbhalayam other than

archakas, etc) and (b) laghu-nyaasa purvaka tri-kaala

ahishekam would be performed to Lord Shiva daily. Our

locality people accepted for my conditions and thus

temple contruction went ahead. For your information,

all the vigraha pratishthas (i.e., Lord Shiva

panchayatana, Shridi Sai and Navagraha) was performed

on February 11, 2007 at 8:43 am.

 

After the Lord Shiva pratishtha on Feb 11, 2007, we

(my wife and myself) have performed madala diksha for

40 days. We concluded the mandala poojas duely with

homam. Please note that since the pratishtha we are

taking care of all the pooja articles for Lord Shiva

temple to best of our ability.

 

In April-May 2007 time-frame a few (section) of our

locality people have started causing problems

regarding the entry of bhaktaas into garbhaalayam. We

have successfully resisted this till date. We firmly

beleive that this is against the santity of Shiva

panchayatana temple aagama. Since then there were

bitter confrontations between me (supported by my

family members i.e., my fathers younger brothers) and

the other locality people.

 

During these confrontations I could understand that

our locality people are not keen on sanctity of the

temple rituals. They only want to ATTRACT devotees

with COMMERCIAL bent of mind. I could also understand

that these confrontations were aimed at side-lining me

and my family from temple matters. I sincerely beleive

in devotion and santity of temple/pooja rituals and

want the poojas to continue as per our above

sankalpam.

 

With this background, I would now request Shri.

Yishunji and others gurus/elders to kindly provide

your divine guidance about my future steps(s).

 

My options are:

(a) Refer the matter to government (endowments

department). This is a long drawn process (including

standard government dealings including bribes, court

cases etc.) and could make my exisiting confrontations

more vicious. I am not worried or afraid. I completely

trust Lord Shiva. I am only wondering if this is a

viable option. I may have to wage a lone and long

battle.

(b) Try to broker peace through my uncles. I am

somehow not convinced about the section of our

locality people giving respect to rituals, and

aagamas. I am also not so confident about my uncles

abilities and interest to persue these matters. In

this case I need to make them beleive and accept for

Ashtamangala prasna and associated poojas to be

performed in the temple.

© Is it an option to perform Ashtamangala prasna by

myself and my family?? Without involvement of other

locality people.

(d) Lastly (I hate this option and wish I will not

have to choose this one), just leave the temple

matters to Lord Shiva himself.

 

I now request Shri. Yishunji and other gurus/elders to

provide their divine guidance. I also request you to

indicate the time-frame by which these problems would

get resolved.

 

I look at this group of learned astrologers as Shiva

Ganas and beleive the verdict would be the word of

Lord Shiva himself. The reason I am thinking so much

is because I also need to keep my job (and my family

responsibilities) going (which again is Lord Shiva's

blessing) without which I could not have contructed

the temple.

Based on Ashtaka Varga calculation (done by myself -

please correct my mistakes, if any) Saturn transit

over Aslesha was to give career disturbances. I

observed that the last few months (when Satun was

transitting Aslesha were really critical and tough for

me in my profession in addition to my mother's health

and the Lord Shiva temple issues). I am now looking

for a job change.

 

Please guide me regarding the indicative time of job

change and any possibility of place change. If yes,

which direction and distance from current location.

 

Please note that I am currently running (Vimshottari)

Guru MD and Rahu AD (upto March 2009). Will the Rahu
