Guest guest
Dear Mr. SRamaswamy Planets are constantly moving in the zodiac at a rate proprtional to their distance from the SUN. The position of planets at the time of birth indicates the birth chart. So during the time of birth the position of Moon indicates janma rasi and the nakshatra in which the Moon is posited is called janma nakshatra. In your wife chart(?)Gemini is her rasi and Mrigasira 3rd pada is her janma nakshatra. In order to know the effect of present planets(which are always moving) on us we take janma rasi as reference-gochara. There are three groups of planets- fast moving Moon; medium speed Mercury, Sun, Venus and Mars; slow moving planets Jupiter, Rahu/kethu and Saturn. Saturn takes an average of 30 years to complete the zodiac or 2.5 years per rasi. When the Saturn comes to 12th sign of janma rasi sade sadi commences and ends when saturn moves to 3rd sign from the janma rasi. So three signs equals 7.5 years. This cycle goes on. In the example chart given Sate sati started when the Saturn entered Taurus sign and will end when Saturn just moved to Leo sign. How to know the time? For this you have to refer Panjanga or almanac published. Here again there can be confusion especially in Tamil Nadu as most popular panjangam are prepared based on vakya ganitham where as majority of other people follow Drik ganitham. According to Vakya system Saturn moves to Simha-Leo on 5 August 2007 when the sade sati ends for all Gemini-Mithuna rasi persons. If you follow Drik system Sade sati ends on 16 July 2007. In general Saturn may not harm that much for those Saturn is a yogakaraka, while moving a sign having higher number of Sarvashtavarga or more bindus in Saturn BAV.Effect will be more at that time Saturn is VMD/AD lord. Hope I have made it clear. --- sramaswa007 <sramaswa007 wrote: > Dear Sir, > > How can one calculate as to when sade saati ends based on > original > birth chart, degrees, ashtakavarga. > > Could someone please explain based on below dob > > April 12th 1951 at 5:30AM in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu > > Current Mahadasha running is Sani Mahadasha till October > 2007. > > Thanks in advance.
