QUESTION:

Namast sir,

Can you explain me someting. On your site is explained that most

stores sell bogus lakshmi conches. In this matter i'm using a so called

bogus lakshmi conch for several years. But if it is a bogus lakshmi

conch without any divine power force, How could it be that my conch is

growing? On the tip side where normal conches grow when there is an

animal in it. The colour is also changing what could this mean? My

conch i did buy in an store its a welk (Dakshinavarti-direction) I'm

turning evry day circles with a dia with ghee for the conch and

agarbati. I'm also sprinkling evry day Gangajal on it. So please reply

me with answers, if tis is a bogus conch why does it grows change

colour? If you do not reply me , then i'll think maybe you are wrong.

Because the conch is infact the bone of an sea-animal. So if the animal

is dead how can the bone grow? So there must be a devine power in the

conch, witch is making it grow and change? Please reply my email.

ANSWER

Dear Sriman,

Lakshmi Conch is Valampuri Turbinella Pyrum. From Indian seas. It is

1/100,000 in rarity. And it is a CONCH, not a Whelk shell from Florida,

that always open on the right. I'm a gemologist, we know real from

fake. Surely there is a normal reason why the shell is changing color

which is not at all unusual, even for anything. This does not make it

bona fide. It is not. You can argue till dooms day, but that is the

scientific, material, and spiritual fact!!!

Best wishes,

Richard
