Guest guest
TRANSITS Monthly Quarterly Newsletter: FULL MOON December – 2009 Dear Friends, Dec. 1,2009 I've been thinking since we're all so busy that we should come out with a Quarterly/Monthly Transits Newsletter to keep aware of the most significant Transits coming up for the Next "2-Weeks". I've always enjoyed reflecting on `things' when the Moon gets to its 1/2 Full, 1/2 Empty, Full Moon or New Moon status, each month. So, I hope you will too! So, here's the 1st version, as the Full Moon in December, approaches. FULL MOON December – 2009 On Dec. 2nd, at 1:30am CST Obviously, we'll each be experiencing the `Stars' slightly differently depending upon what part of the world we live in. Take the approaching Full Moon coming up, `tomorrow'. When I cast the chart for tomorrow, or 1:30am tomorrow, where I live, the Moon and Sun both arrive at the 16th degree in their respective `signs'. The Sun's will be at the 16th degree of Scorpio tomorrow, or in about 15 hours from `now', and the Moon will arrive to the 16th degree in the opposite sign of Taurus at the same time. This means the Full Moon! If you've been watching the `stars' over the last few weeks, undoubtedly, you've been enjoying the increasing `fullness' of the Waxing cycle. No wonder, traditional Jyotish feels so much `prejudice' for the waxing Moon. However, since I've been exposed to the Saturn wisdoms of the Rest cycles of life, especially the Daily, `sleep' cycle, I've come to realize that the Moon's waning cycles each month, are the Moons' Monthly, `rest cycle'. And, even 1 or 2 months, watching the Moon's transits will show you how important it is for `YOU' to be more in-tune with this cycle. Now, begins the Next, Moon's Waning Cycle, commonly called the 3rd Quarter, or the time when the Moon moves from being Full, to being 1/2 Full, but half Empty! So, watch that now, as the Holiday season approaches. I find most people suffer, unnecessarily around the holidays because they don't take into account, the exact details of the Stars. This Holiday, let's resolve to have the happiest one ever! And, use this great knowledge about how to take Maximum Advantage of Each day, by spending even just 1 minute each day, looking at tomorrow's stars! Today, the Moon's at the 7th degree of Exalted Taurus, as we `speak'! This means the Moon's going to be the most positive in its vibrations and energies. This will be a remarkably `happier' couple of days, just because this year, there is no `undercurrent' of malefic ness, simultaneously hitting Taurus. Last year, both Saturn and Rahu were `negatively' aspecting Taurus, so you'd notice the Moon enjoyed going through Taurus, but there was something unsettling going on at the same time. Now, both Saturn and Rahu have moved into `new' signs, so this entire year, will be free of their negative, disruptive energies. So, enjoy, plan important things. Get a lot done. Meet with important people. Take Maximum Advantage of these next 2 days. Today, and tomorrow will feel quite full, than `see' if you experience the Moon beginning to wane! I've been feeling the Moon's increasing waxing energy, now for these entire last 2 weeks, sailing on the `sheets' of their ever increasing flavor. Now, the sailboat will be tacking, or turning about, so see if you can feel that shift. Actually, this is a great analogy for the Moon. We progress in life, a lot like sailing. And, if you've ever sailed, you've experienced first hand, that you can't proceed just straight ahead, continually. You go ahead for awhile, catching the wind within your sails. But, the wind is always changing so you have to utilize it in the way that its flowing. The `stars' are a lot like the ever changing wind! And, the Moon, is that nature's engine, that pervades everything and everyone, simultaneously. This is why the knowledge and wisdom of the stars is so significant. We'll gain tremendous advantage by knowing which way the wind's going to be blowing! Now, the Moon's about to shift, and move into a 3rd quarter, waning tact. See, if you can feel that shift. And, if you learn how to flow with it, your sail won't fall dead. Those that don't shift with the stars, are like sailors who don't tack with the changing wind. And, as a result, they loose the wind in their sails, and everything stops! Like that, we learn how to follow Nature's transit, `winds' and we can take maximum advantage of every conceivable `patch' of weather. O Full Moon – 15 hours from now O Waning Moon cycle begins next O Next 2-week: 3rd Quarter Moon cycle: Dec. 2nd – 15th O 1/2 Empty Moon: December 8th O New Moon: December 15th O 1/2 Full Next Waxing Moon: December 24th O Next Full Moon: December 31st This means, we're going to have a very full, waxing Moon between Christmas and the New Year, which will allow most people to have good Moon, emotional energy. This is quite nice, because most people don't know how `to act' more in-tune with the stars, so this holiday season will feel more rosy, spontaneously! Contrast this with other seasons when the Moon or planets were not conducive to a real outward, festive, positive `seasonal' feeling and much strain, stress and discomfort resulted. So, take wonderful advantage of the stars this holiday season, and reflect on this most recent year and make your wonderful, hopeful `resolutions' for next years accomplishments. Next, year, on May 2nd, 2010, Almighty Jupiter first moves into Pisces, (One of it's Own Signs) and this next year will be an amazingly positive and expansive, productive, and ever-progressive year! Most Important Transits of this Next Moon Quarter 3rd Quarter: Fullness to 1/2 Empty Dec. 2nd – Dec. 8th Classifications: A: Auspicious M: Medium IN: Inauspicious O Full Moon – Dec. 2nd 1:30am (cst) Very Auspicious O Exalted Moon – Taurus – Dec. 1st and 2nd Auspicious O Dec. 3rd & 4th - Moon collides with Ketu & Rahu's influence: IA O Dec. 5th & 6th - Moon - Own Sign Cancer, colliding w/Mars: M O Dec. 7th & 8th - Moon – Sign of Leo – Medium Remember the Moon's going to shift `tact's' and start to wane soon, so allow for that and you'll do fine.
