Guest guest
Dear Mark and all: Would you make a comment about Jupiter moving into Aquarius for a brief 3-month visit in general and comment on which position from the Moon or the ascendant would carry the most weight? For example, Jupiter in Aquarius for a Cancer ascendant is in the 8th house but 11th from Moon. Will this have a mixed result? Some astrologers predict that Jupiter's transit will be better because he is no longer debilitated in Capricorn. I for one began to feel very depressed on Sunday, checked your Stars book and wondered if this was due to Rahu's aspect on the Taurus Moon or the possible beginning of the ingress of Jupiter in Aquarius, my 8th house, as a Cancer ascendant. Some astrologers are predicting a brief respite from money woes for the 3 months Jupiter is in Aquarius, but I would be interested in hearing other views too. Here's a site that interprets Jupiter's transit from the Moon. http://www.astroved.com/news/Jupiter-Transit-May-2009.asp Blessings, Janna Om hrim klim hum brhaspataye namah Om we bow down to the Guru of the Gods, Jupiter
Guest guest
I think that as good as Jupiter moving into Aquarius will be Saturn's move into Virgo...the sign ruled by a friend. Saturn has been in Leo, the sign of an enemy to that planet, and since Jupiter has been transitting a Saturn ruled sign and will be going into another Saturn ruled sign, it's good that Saturn, its dispositor, will be out of a sign that's not good for it. Maybe things will get better yet worldwide in 3 yrs or so when Saturn goes into Libra, the sign of its exaltation. Jupiter transitting Pisces should be positive, too. ....Bettina On Behalf Of Janna LynnMonday, April 27, 2009 4:26 PM Subject: Jupiter in Aquarius May 1 Dear Mark and all:Would you make a comment about Jupiter moving into Aquarius for a brief 3-month visit in general and comment on which position from the Moon or the ascendant would carry the most weight? Guest guest
Hi Bettina, I too feel that there will continue to be Saturnian contraction with Jupiter in the Saturn-ruled sign of Aquarius, which would be through 2010, but it's also possible that Jupiter in Aquarius will be somewhat freer than in the debilitated sign of Capricorn. Saturn with the luminaries, Sun and Moon, have been very trying on all levels, a test of endurance. And I too think it may take 3 years for stabilization around the time when Jupiter reaches Libra. That time too then ushers in the end of the transition culminating with the Mayan prophecy of 2012, which a cyber astro friend also shared now has a corollary in the Hindu calendar with the prediction that a Golden Age will start 5,000 years after the beginning of the Kali Yuga, and will last for 10,000 years. I like to observe how the planetary patterns reflect the predictions. Here is the writeup I got secondhand on a list if anyone is interested. Although I have heard of the Mayan prediction of a new age beginning 2012, it is the first I have heard of a corollary with the Hindu scriptures, which have shown that the age of Kali Yuga lasts for many more years. > The ancient Hindus mainly used lunar calendars but also used solar calendars > If an average lunar year equals 354.36 days, then this would be about 5270 > lunar years from the time when the Kali Yuga started until 21 Dec 2012. Guest guest
I agree, Janna, Saturn in Aquarius should be a lot better than in the sign of its fall. Even though Jupiter is in its fall in Capricorn, Saturn is not its enemy; Saturn and Jupiter are neutral to each other, and with Saturn going into the sign of a friend....better yet. ....Bettina On Behalf Of Janna LynnTuesday, April 28, 2009 5:54 AM Subject: Re: Jupiter in Aquarius May 1 Hi Bettina,I too feel that there will continue to be Saturnian contraction with Jupiter in the Saturn-ruled sign of Aquarius, which would be through 2010, but it's also possible that Jupiter in Aquarius will be somewhat freer than in the debilitated sign of Capricorn.
