Guest guest
Dear Mark, I've noticed how the movement of what feels like growth is slowed and 'sticky', with the Jupiter and Rahu conjunction. I notice also that when I complain in myself, I see the causes in the moment in my self of this slow-up. Is this the primary function of Rahu, self reflection and self examination? Hi Simon: It is 'said' in the field of Jyotish that Rahu acts like Saturn. So, the fact that Rahuand Jupiter, the primary planet of expansion are literally right on top of each other at the 15thdegree of Capricorn may partially explain what's going on and what you're going through. But, this is a very complicated time. In addition to Rahu & Jupiter's planetary war, Mars now, is less than 2 degrees away from both Rahu and Jupiter. So, on the one hand we have some very good Capricorn energy going on, due to Mars' Exaltationin Capricorn. However, we also have Rahu and Jupiter going through Capricorn, where both ofthem are not so positive. In other words, Rahu & Jupiter in Capricorn represent the negative ormalefic side of Capricorn. However, when I hear people's questions I like to look and see which planets are really being asked about. And, when your words said: " Is this the primary function of Rahu, self-reflection and self examination? " When I hear these words I'd have to say, " no, self-reflection and self examination are not due to " Rahu. " Self " in any capacity is the Sun in our charts. Perhaps what you're referring to was the Sun's recent transit through Capricorn, colliding with both Rahu and Jupiter over the last 2-weeks.Rahu's primary influence is to give positive and negative karmas of oue desires, back to us.Rahu shows us how in-tune we are with our desires. If Rahu's balanced, then we have desires, but 'they' don't rule us. Where we're not in-tune with Rahu, our desires are of that more addictive, compulsive and obsessive element. In the Seasons of The Stars book, calendar, watchespecially those Moon days where Moon's either with Rahu or being fully aspected by Rahu tosee how in-tune you are with Rahu.Mark Best wishes, Simon
