Guest guest
Dear Mark, Some of your insights churned overnight on the dream plane and upon reflection this morning, I think that it is important, as you suggested, to remember to return to a point of simplicity in observing the planetary motions and their effects on us with the spiritual perspective that we are spiritual beings having a human experience.Dear Janna: Glad to hear it! I find the more silent we are the more clearly we'll be ableto experience such things as the transits! Your comment " From what you say; the thought occurs to me, to not try and look at it from so many angles. Be slightly more innocent, and let the experiences, guide you to the interpretation. ... " was reinforced by a western astrologer's article on the " essence of Christmas, " which seems to be appropriate to share with you and others, so I've copied it below. Then too your insight of Saturn crossing so many of my natal planets (almost all are in H1 & H2) for the past 5 years has made it possible for me to see this planetary pattern in my chart more clearly, which has contributed to a feeling of spiritual and physical exhaustion, astrologically perhaps not the least is that Saturn will be hovering around my natal Mars for some time, perhaps until Saturn leaves Leo in September 2009. That was also my own experience this last year of so, when Saturn in Leo went acrossall my planets in Leo, Mercury, Venus and Sun, in my 11th house. That was as much of akind of sade sat as Saturn on top of our Moons! I am reminded that it is the waxing solar cycle and may give cause for hope, expressed in the astrologer's reminder of the innocence and purity contained in the divine child in each of us. Just remember ALL Saturn experiences are there so we bring more Saturn silence and wisdominto that area of our life that is represented by either that house, sign or planets in signs. So, as Saturn is moving across your Mars, next, let all of your Mars activities be wedded orintegrated with more Saturn silence! Sincerely, Mark K. Many blessings for a lunar and solar new year of light, peace, and prosperity. -janna " Christmas celebrates a simple truth: Each of us is a divine child, born fragile and delicate, pure of heart, and magnificent with unfathomable promise and potential. Daily life makes it difficult to stay in touch with that spark of divine light. We struggle to survive, maintain, and cope with modern life, which increasingly grows more complex and convoluted. We have more information than we can possibly integrate or digest, and seemingly far more responsibilities than we can handle. At sea in a world where we must stay in control, we grow up quickly, and we encourage our children to do the same. Naiveté is seen as a failing. Innocence, a useless flaw in a ruthless world. And yet the divine child in each of us stays alive and active, even if we are unconscious of its presence. It dwells in our hearts, feeds our imagination, fires our desire to believe. It allows us to hope. No matter what scars of bitterness or brokenness our hearts may bear, this divine child endures. Its innocence nourishes and sustains our resilience, a resilience that supports the potential to survive suffering, no matter how brutal, and to return to life. When we nourish the divine child within us, we look at the world through eyes of wonder and awe, humble and curious about what lies ahead. Willing to try again and again. Christmas celebrates our innocence. And innocence is non-sectarian. As is joy, happiness, love, and the wish for peace and prosperity. So regardless of your religious affiliation, take a moment to celebrate the divine child. Honor its strength, acknowledge its wisdom, respect its innocence. Make a commitment to help it to mature into a compassionate heart, open and vulnerable, and despite the challenges and complexities of life, skillful at maintaining hope and love.
