I haven't read anything about

your insight into the current

economic troubles facing the

US.

Raja Raam ( Maharishi's

successor ) made a comment about the crisis.

He said Nature is giving use a

warning that the rich should be using there wealth more wisely to support

growing collective consciousness. He said the amount that people are

loosing is just the amount that was asked for to support

heaven on earth.HI Dan: On an

astrological level, one is always only experiencing the products of

one'skarmas or actions. In terms of losses, like now, these

are classic examples of Saturnpulling the rug out from underneath

us; just so we wake up to better ways of doing things.The good

news is that even Saturn is not doing it to us!Only we,

individually and collectively are doing actions and Saturn is just the

instrumentfrom Nature or the Divine; that shows us how balanced our

actions are. No one is being punished but nature is giving a warning. The word punishment might be a little strong; but

always we're going to get theproduct of our actions.If

our actions are incorrect, imbalanced, or unhealthy we will get punished,

butit's not like a conscious mind punishing.When we do

actions that leads to our sickness, it is a punishment when we get sick.But, the sickness is a direct result of our actions,

and therefore caused by ourselves!But, even punishment is

accurate but nature is only trying to show us the realproduct of our

actions.Maharishi himself, used to say: " When you

violate the laws of nature, the first,initial responses from nature

are small, little slaps. But, if we continue doing wrongaction; eventually a large tidal wave comes and knocks us over. " One of the things I've felt that Jyotish or astrology is really

competent about ishelping us see earlier and earlier stages of wrong

action, brewing.For example, we can sense when our Mars' are

off key. We get little accidents,bang our elbow, slip and

almost fall.But, instead of heeding the warnings, we end up

keep going and then, baam!we have a bigger accident.We can solve all problems of poverty and make the wealthy,

wealthier - and the poor, not poor if they support Maharishi's

programs.

very fascinating chart. It's both very spiritual and yet very
