Guest guest
Re: 2parvatishankar: re.... transit jupiter and rahu in seventh househey mark...you are so right..perhaps the jupiter/rahu conflict has alreadystarted...or it is the transit ketu in cancer on my moon.my details are: 30th april, 1974, 4:45 am, bangalore.Hi Usha: When I run these details for your chart, I get a Pisces rising. But, that doesn't sound right if you think you've got your Capricorn and Rahu transiting there, in your 7th house. Please let me know what your rising sign is?see more below re. up-coming transit of Jupiter and Rahu....rahu is already in 7th house - these days marriage is top ofmind...not love and marriage as it used to be earlier but factoringin religion and family..cheers,UshaDear Usha:As far as this up-coming Jupiter & Rahu transit in Capricorn, not only will that be rough as Jupiter and Rahu are not very happy in the same house. But, Jupiter will be moving into it's Debilitation in Capricorn soon too. One positive note is because Rahu is in the later degrees of Capricorn, the worst part of their up-coming collision or planetary war won't happen for almost a year.Right now, Jupiter's at the 18th degree of Sagittarius while Rahu's at the 24th degree of Capricorn.Jupiter then, moves into Capricorn on December 10th of 2008.So, even then, you may be able to feel the beginning of the Rahu & Jupiter merging. However, remember, Jupiter will also be bringing its knowledge and wisdom to Rahu as well! That's in fact, what we're doing right now. So, if you can be in the wisdom of this up-coming event you will be able to anticipate any troubling experiences, and in fact, turn this into a very glorious event. For me, what I'm going to be doing is thinking of the positivity of both these planets.Jupiter in Capricorn by the way. Jupiter's in debilitation in Capricorn because in Capricorn, the sign of materialism, Jupiter too often, makes life decisions from that materialistic point of view instead of its naturally more spiritual nature. So, we can minimize Jupiter's negative effects this up-coming year, (from Dec. 10th 2008 to Dec. 20th 2009), by understanding the inherent challenge or tension for Jupiter moving through Capricorn. Also, we can understand why Jupiter and Rahu colliding isn't necessarily the most rosy of transits. This is because much of the time, Rahu has a malefic job to live. This means Rahu is the planet that gives us our karmas associated with imbalances of desires.Rahu is negative or malefic when desire dominates or rules us. Therefore, Rahu is the primary symbolism of compulsions, obsessions and addictions. Therefore, when Rahu's addictive self is colliding with a weakened Jupiter self, then that doesn't bode well. But, because there's a goodness, or silver lining inside all malefic situations, something good, ultimately will be coming out of this.Even just talking about this to you is enlivening in me, this up-coming situation.Already I'm going to be more prepared for this Cosmic storm.Malefic storms are like weather storms. We're the cosmic meterorologists! and we can predict the up-coming weather!Look out for February 13, 2009. On this day, both Rahu and Jupiter will be at the 15th degree of Capricorn,or at the literal heighth of their planetary war!Hope this helps!Sincerely,Mark K.--- In , markkincaid wrote:>>>> Mark! Guest guest
Dear Mark, thanks for that very lucid explanation...you are right..i have a pisces rising with venus in it..however i said rahu is in 7th house, coz we check transit from the moon sign (cancer), just as we check saade sathi? ....though i am dreading the upcoming transit, i also wonder if by nature am under its influence...coz jupiter in my chart is sitting in the star (satabhisha) of a debilitated rahu..the rahu sits in my ninth house (scorpio) -ninth house being the house of jupiter. Plus in navamsa chart i have a jupiter and rahu conjunct in third house...so yes..the lagna lord jupiter is already struggling with a rahu influence...there is a lot of conflict in life - conventional vs unconventional...so i guess i would need someone with that conflict too..to balance it out.. Can you tell me if this is a good match...14-march 1975...3:59 pm...place of birth bangalore...? i felt a sense of deja vu when i saw the horoscope and matched it with mine...i met him in mid-march this year...and he was interested and was rushing things...however...i was going through a dasha change...and was hesitant...and also the sudden rahu transit in april end caused a sudden shift...everything just pettered off...there was no elder in the family to take it forward.. i feel the boy (or any boy right for marriage) would again materialise by mid-oct/november..since i've always felt people with cancerian moon are sensitive to transit change one-two months before it actually happens... the few things that worry me about his horoscope are: the jupiter, venus, moon combo in 9th house..it's too intense and conflicted.., the seventh house exalted mars (with rahu now transiting over it) and most of all his sun and mercury in eighth house - his mercury also has an exchange with saturn...i have an exalted sun and just started a sun dasa..so wondering about the impact he would have on me if we ever get married...would be good if you could clarify.. btw..i started learning astrology since the onset of saade saathi..coz i had that hitting it at the same time as janma guru:-( and no efforts were paying off on any front...forcing me to pay more attention to the planetary transits...however, i wonder if saturn over the last few years has made me overcautious and is now teaching a lesson on balance:-) do let me know... Thanks Mark!
