Guest guest
once again mark, thanks for the transit report. You're so very welcome... i was racking my brains all day wondering why i was so sluggish and irritable It's such a comfort to at least begin to understand why! When we discover time and time again, similar patterns or cycles, we discover exactlywhy we react in so many ways...Then, of course, the point is to look ahead, a week, 2 even 3 and 4 weeks... and writedown which days are difficult for us...I like to call them the Auspicious and Inauspicious days for ourselves.....Then, we can manipulate our life around these Cosmic weather days....and take better advantage of these trends....The next goal, however, is to figure out what we can do to grow out of the malefic nessof any of the planets...so that in future transits....we don't get so weirded out....Then...i just watched myself, flow thru the day.and guess what? i was awakened at around 8am after getting only 3hours of sleep and that made me so crabby. i did what i had to do for my spouse and went back into bed, refusing to stay awake. slept until noon and then slowly got around doing things.moon in aries for me falls in my 6th house and that is where my natal ketu is.added to that mark, you wrote about the transit ketu in leo aspecting the transit moon and wow, it was at 5 degrees something at 8am here in india!!!This is a brilliant insight for yourself.... Not only which transit is rough for you but in terms of your own rising sign and related houses...Well done! Also, your experience shows that we all do experience the transits at very much the same time...Only we experience these at different times due to being in different time zones.... now it is 9pm and i feel a lot better. as you know 6th house is subordinates and servants , and boy did i have my share of irritation with one of them! thanks to our awareness, i just kept telling myself,it would pass off soon.Another juicy detail which confirms the truth of this transit going through your 6th house!good job! keep the good work going mark, i enjoy reading each and every transit report that you send to us.Will do! For me, Astrology came alive when I learned to first experience the transits!Astrology is vibrant and alive in the every day movements of the stars...And, now, 21 years later, having done a chart for each day!I can honestly say, how much nature has taught me by allowing me to watch what she does...All the rules and principles of Jyotish for example, can be verified in watching the day by day transits....Conjunctions, aspects....it's all there in the realities of the stars! DIVINE THANKS rhoda You're so very welcome....Jai Guru!Mark K.markkincaid (AT) (DOT) com wrote: The Stars Within Transits Newsletter Today, January 16,2008 Moon’s passing through Aries, Now From Pisces into Aries….. Did you notice the shift in the air within the last 24 hours? Moon was moving through Pisces and then began its monthly transit into Aries. What a contrast between Pisces and Aries in general. What I love the most about watching the Transits is each day the Moon acts as a receiver of the Cosmic rays of the Sun, stars and planets and we get to experience the positives and negatives of it all! So, the Moon was passing through Pisces. And, you could feel that delicious, pure, spiritual and knowledge oriented Piscean energy. For me, I had two delicious philosophical and knowledge days supplemented by some very good spiritual, consciousness days. Then, the Moon shifted into Aries. And, you could really feel it! Having watched the transits now for over 20 years each month when the Moon moves through Aries you can feel this shift. Actually, there’s nothing wrong, really with the Moon’s transit through Aries. It’s only different than Pisces and represents a more doing, and Aries accomplishing sort of time. When you allow yourself to shift with the stars you’ll feel the most natural and in-tune with nature. This month and year however, there are two functional malefic influences that are also a part of the Moon’s transition through Aries. Ever since Ketu moved into Leo, this year, Ketu has also been aspecting or directly influencing Aries as well. Therefore, not only is Moon in Aries different but Ketu’s influence will also be felt during these 2 ½ days. Typical Ketu feelings include more heat, fire, anger or resentment. They say Ketu acts like Mars and you’ll feel that added Marish quality during these days. In some ways this can be good because these days then can be used for physical and outward actions and achievements. This is especially appropriate since the Moon is waxing and more than ½ full now. In other months, especially when the Sun moves into Aries, in the spring, those Moon in Aries days will represent the New Moon, so the dynamics of these Moon in Aries days will be completely different. Also, you may have been feeling a tad restless or rough emotionally during the last 24 hours. Moon entered Aries yesterday at 1pm on the 15th (cst-US) and then collided with Ketu’s 4th degree 9th house aspect at 8pm, here. You may have noticed feeling strange and upset emotionally or hard to fall asleep or sleep these last few hours. Now, the Moon’s at the 11th degree of Aries so it’s past the direct influence of Ketu and moving towards Saturn which is at the 13th degree of Leo. Therefore, don’t rush or be impatient over the next 2 degrees or 4 hours. If you’re still feeling edgy and especially impatient these are classic Saturn influences. This is the time to grow and be more with Sani’s pure and positive qualities of silence, stillness and patience. After 1pm, then, you’ll immediately feel another shift and feel like a cloud or boulder has been passed and the sky or road ahead will feel lighter and more ‘pleasant’. Anyway, very fun sharing with you all these wonderful thoughts about the great science of Jyotish and especially the transits. Sincerely, Mark Kincaid PS….. Feel free to send in any of your experiences and questions. Subscriber from Santa Barbara, California “Mark, thank you for all your help with especially the transits. I’ve found the transits very true to my experience quite a bit. My question then is what do we do during negative or what you say, malefic times?” Terry “Dear Terry: Very good question. The benefices and malefics in life are there to give us the two extremes of positive and negative. In truth everything is positive. So, even when we get sick, there is a silver lining there because we get motivated to learn what we need to learn to NOT get sick again! However, if we’re at a place where we want to take advantage of which days are going to be sunny and which days dark and stormy then the transits are very powerful for that. Think of the malefic times, especially, as stormy weather storms. We’re always interested in checking the weather channel and seeing what the weather will be like coming up! Like that, we can look ahead and see which days are going to be smooth and which one’s less so. Then, we can plan around the more negative or inauspicious times. I personally, also find that the so-called malefic times are really good times for personal healing. I also find that the negative vibrations are playing out in my body and I feel a desire to be more silent or calm inside. Especially rough Moon and Saturn transits have been very helpful for me to re-direct my energy to create more emotional even ness and attunement especially, with Saturn. So, to answer your question more specifically, use malefic times to avoid important events and experiences and allow yourself to be more in a healing mode, resting or taking it easy as much as you can. First step, of course, is to watch the transits for 2 or 3 months each day and discover which patterns are the most important for you. You also, will find which days are the most positive and easy. Those will then, be your typical auspicious days. Generally, there are 5 or 6 really positive days each month. Then, there are about 20 days which are kind of medium with 5 or 6 really awful or negative days. See, if you can find your ‘days’. Then, wrap your life and plans around this knowledge. You’ll find yourself more happy and more successful in the world, as well.” Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
