Guest guest
Dear Friends: Seems like I’ve been gone from our groups here forever. Have been focusing on my book. I think you’re all going to be pleased. Other news: Found a publisher for my book this summer so it will be coming out this fall too, God willing. So, I thought I’d catch up a little with what’s going on with the ‘Stars’ right now. Big changes in the wind now and over the next few months. The main, biggest change was Saturn moving from Cancer into Leo. Could you feel that transit? Saturn Moves into Leo For about 2-3 weeks Sani was in the gap between Cancer and Leo and for awhile there it seemed the intensity of Saturn was not going to let up! You’ll hear about planets being stronger sometimes as they go through the gap between signs. Well, that was certainly the case this time. Now, however, even as Saturn’s only at the 1st degree in Leo you can begin to feel a settled quality growing. For those who have been feeling the Saturn intensity on the emotional level due to Saturn in Cancer; you should already be feeling a kind of relief. Though of course Saturn represents “lessons or wisdom….of….” so when Saturn was moving through Cancer it represented lessons of Cancer or wisdom of cancer. In other words, those who were the most balanced with Saturn got a chance to experience the wisdom of Saturn silence in Cancer. Those of the rest of us who still had lessons to learn felt some pinches on an emotional or feeling level. Why? So, that we can learn to adjust and bring more eternal silence and stillness to the very nature of our Cancer Moon’s or emotions. Now, that Saturn’s making the transition into Leo we now can look forward to either “lessons or wisdom of” Leo ness. Leo represents the home of the Sun or self so everything to do with the Self, I, ego or self-confidence, even ‘will’, will be highlighted during these next 2 ½ years. If you have a relatively strong and healthy I or self inside then this transition may be very positive and involve even more subtle and higher values of Saturn coming into your self or soul. If however, you have any issues of lack of self-confidence or ego problems either feelings of inferiority or superiority then those ‘impurities’ will tend to be pop up during this Saturn in Leo time. Don’t feel bad; just be awake to seeing this new transition. Then, whatever comes, learn to adjust. Saturn says sometimes “Not this way, not this time.” Also, Saturn bodes us to put more attention on silence and stillness in all the different areas of our lives. When Saturn was transiting Cancer Sani was saying: “come on now, bring more silence into the Cancer, Moon, mind and emotions.” Now, with Saturn moving into Leo Saturn will be saying: “come on now, bring more silence into the ego, I, self nature!” Saturn represents a tremendous opportunity to grow in the inward and silent dynamic of life. Unfortunately, too often we’re not taught about tapping or developing this inward part of life. So, we go along, living our lives and are shocked when sometimes the rug is pulled out from under us or we loose something that was so precious to us. The true purpose of these so-called negative Saturn experiences is to stir us, to awaken us to this most important inward side of life. Without this, life will be very incomplete. In fact each day, at every moment we’re involved in some kind of dynamic Saturn-Jupiter moment. At each stage of life, life is either progressing or resting. Every stage of life involves either a moment of rest or a moment of alternating activity. We’re walking to work. Or walking in the park doesn’t matter. At every moment we’re either moving ahead with a Jupiter expansive step or we’re planting a Saturn rest step. We don’t often notice but before we step ahead we first need to have planted a Saturn rest step. First we plant a foot and then the next foot moves ahead. This is a Jupiter expansion foot but then, immediately we planet that foot and then the other foot moves ahead in a classic Jupiter expansive mode. Like this all stages of life are either a Saturn rest or stabilizing step or a Jupiter expansive one. We forget to go to sleep at night and the whole next day feels horrible. Why? Because we forgot to first plant our Saturn rest step at night. What we do the night before has everything to do with how awake and vibrant we are the next day. Like that Saturn is a very important and precious part of life. Unfortunately, for too many people Saturn is one of our functional malefics. Why? Because we’re not in-tune even with its very important nature. Therefore study Saturn! Study the many ways in which Saturn is a vital aspect of life. The more we appreciate the role of Saturn in life and progress the more we’ll allow it to grow in our lives. As we do we’ll discover our life flooding ahead in all manners of joy and spontaneous fulfillments of desires, progress and happiness. Jupiter Moves into Sagittarius November, 2007 Also, this year Jupiter makes its yearly shift into a new sign. This year, all-mighty Jupiter will be moving from Scorpio to Sagittarius. Sagittarius is one of Jupiter’s happiest signs so expect this up-coming year, beginning in late November to be blessed with all good Jupiter blessings and grace. New Project: “How to Study Astrology” Sometime soon I’m going to begin a new project called: “How to Study Astrology”. My publisher suggested we also publish a simultaneous pamphlet on how to study astrology along with my book so I’m going to invite people to participate in this study as well. There will be three tracks or categories of this course. There’ll be one for beginners, medium and advanced students and we will cover all the most important parts of astrology over the next 3-months. If you’re interested, let me know right away and I’ll tell you more about the details. Guru Purnima! Today! Today is the Vedic day when the Guru is celebrated. This is one of the most auspicious full-moons of the year as the Guru, Jupiter in life brings us all blessings and advantages from the field of enlightenment. As one opens one’s heart in appreciation of the Jupiter gifts that have come to us, we open ourselves to more receptivity and as a result more precious gifts from the Divine. The true role of the Guru or Jupiter in life is to take us out of our ignorance or what Jyotish calls malefic habits and patterns and move into a new enlightened style of being. Desire today for your own greater enlightenment and open yourself up to the Jupiter gifts of the universe! All glory to the Guru! Sincerely, Mark Kincaid Jai Guru!
