Guest guest
many thanks Mark ! This is quite a practical approach towards Jyotish study I presume. How to study transits? What I know is that there are 3 main charts. 1. Lagna (based on planet postions at the time of birth) 2. Rashi Chart( based on the Moon sign and the planets from the moon sign) 3. Navmsa(of ones spouse, do not know its importance in analysing) One Query pertaining to it is , What is Bhava Chart? Surya ! Could you also please throw some ligh on the Bhava CHart as u mentioned in ur reply? The Bhava chart is the most precise and exact chart. It's based on the exact moment of our births. So, if we were born when the Rising Sign was 4degreesCancer then a first house is constructed around that exact degree. Creating a first house 15 degrees both ways mean in your Bhava chart, you add 15 degrees to the initial 4 which takes you to the 19th degree of Cancer, while going the other way takes you down to the 19th degree degree of Gemini, also in your First House of your Bhava chart. Then, all the other signs are tilted the same way. This means that if some of your planets do not fit within that 19degree to 19degree range, then their influence is supposed to move into a new house. If you send in your date of birth information I'll look and see if any of your planetsmove into other houses in your Bhava chart.... Main Question is that how the transit is analysed considering all these different charts? For example: In Lagna Chart, Lord of my 10th house is SUN and in Rashi Chart Lord of my 10th house is Saturn.(since my rashi is Mesh and Lagna Lord is Scorpion) Now how I'm going to apply transit study on this chart. Its interesting to discuss with u all knowledgable team. Best Regards George George: Jyotish identifies 2 main ways of studying the Transits. One is through the Moon chart and the other is through the Rasi chart.I've studied both ways and have found that the Rasi approach is more fundamental. In my new Transits newsletter I mentioned to you before, I go into more depth for those who areready to study their charts more seriously.Hope to see you there.
