Dear Astrology gurus, I am very new to learning

astrology. The other day, my close friend came to me for his chart

reading. he is going through some very tough time. Two years back

he lost his business, and recently his wife had her fourth

abortion. Since he is very sad and vulnerable, i dont want to take

the chance by reading his chart and may be give him false hope. So, i kindly request you to read his chart and please suggest

some pariharam/ poojas he can do . here is his birthdata:

Dear Madhavan: I'm happy to look at

your friends chart. First before we go into his particulars

let me say one thing. One of the best things I've learned from

Jyotish is that we can 'hear' which planets are causing us our

grief, in the details of our challenges and problems.

For example if we're having accidents, fights or disagreements with people

these are all Mars meanings. If we're having problems

of love of being unloved these are Venus problems. If we're having

emotional or mental problems these quite often are Moon challenges.

When I hear your words: " he is going through some very tough time.

Two years back he lost his business, and recently his wife had her

fourth abortion. Since he is very sad and vulnerable, " I hear predominantly Saturn! Though of course

we want then to look and see if we can find indeed that Saturn is

the one that's acting malefically. I follow these words:

" going through very tough time " and " lost his

business " ... When I look at his chart then, I look for

Saturn goings on in both his chart, dasas and in Transits. Supposedly he has an Aquarius rising which means Gemini and Cancer are

in his 5th and 6th Houses. Also, his Moon is in Gemini

in his 5th House. Over the last few years Saturn was

transiting Gemini and the place where his Moon was in his birth

chart. Therefore he was going through the worst part of that

classic Sade Sat that you may have heard about. So, now even

though Saturn's in Cancer that too is the last stage of sade sat.

So, tell your friend these are all Saturn karmas.

Saturn also is in his 4th House fully aspecting his 10th house of

career. Therefore all these Saturn meanings are nature trying

to tell him to be more in-tune with his Saturn! Also,

it looks like he's moved into the Saturn Maha Dasa period recently in

2006! Therefore encourage him to study and grow within

Saturn's more positive and benefic side. Most people can

benefit a lot from studying and becoming more in-tune with Saturn!
