I have a profound interest in research in consciousness. My

inner experiences at the level of my nervous system tells me

something of the nature of the interaction between the

physiological that allows us to know cosmic consciousness. I think

this is the essence of Jyotish. Hi

Oh yes, glad to hear of your connecting

consciousness to Astrology. We'll find as we pay attention that the

more we strengthen or enliven our consciousness that will have a

very positive and life-affirming influence upon our experiences with the

Transits!

Our own

" light " within will show us the " way " to the in

knowing. Moreover, the daily experiences with the transits I sense

and feel on an intuitive level offers me some form of this knowing on a

very personal, both with benefic and malefics, at the level of

awareness.

 

I know what you mean. As

I’ve meditated that experience has not only changed my consciousness

but it has also changed the way I perceive

Jyotish!

 

Knowledge that is presented to me comes as if in waves during waking and sleeping states. So, consciousness is 24/7. Now, the question for me is, how

to work with both? Especially the malefics.

 

Well, you’re better off then most people

because you’re already growing in the most powerful Vedic remedy

called meditation.

The ‘affects’ of that Vedic technique for

you will give you the power to change whatever malefic you focus

on!

I’m sure you’re heard the

expression:

“Where there’s a will there’s a

way!”

Well, where there’s a will we have the best

chance to make our way! Without a strong

enough will we can barely manifest our survival much less our progress and

prosperity in life.

Ah,…you’re reminding me of a great

article that’s been in the back of my

mind.

“Will, fulfillment of desire, and the

Sun!”

As it turns out the Will is a reflection of our

Sun’s!

Those who have bright and powerful Sun’s have

strong self-confidence but also strong and successful

wills.

Without a strong inner Self, Sun light we can’t

find our way!

The will is a reflection of our Sun’s

light.

So, you having spent

years enlivening your consciousness, Self, Sun, your will should be

stronger then before!

This is not only fortunate for your sense of Self,

but it’s very fortunate for all your undertakings, plans, goals and

dreams.

Your ability to Transform any of your Malefics

depends greatly on your Strength of I, Self,

Sun!

Daily

these waves are felt each day, and even hourly I personally listen

to and respond to them. The shift of the power and energy of transits reflects how and when the physiological (central nervous

system) responds to these planetary powers in a particular way or

fashion, that repsond to, let's say the moonish feelings in Libra

for instance, nice feelings that are sweat and emotionally good to

know.

I agree and as you get more and more clear

you’ll notice these Transits ‘out there’ are the

vibrations of the Universe coming to us from the

Stars!

There are however, two other aspects of Jyotish or

Astrology we need to discover.

Second, are the Dasas.

These represent the subtle currents and shifts of our specific

karmas coming to us at every moment.

These, however, are perceived differently then the

Transits.

The Dasas often times can be perceived as the subtle

shifts in our feelings or emotions. When you

watch the Dasas long enough you’ll be aware that your emotions are

ruled by the positives and the negatives of your

chart.

These Dasas represent the various shifts in the

positive and negative karmic components of our charts flowing to us at

every moment.

That’s why Jyotish says pay attention to the

Dasas!

If we do and see a very good Dasas period is coming

up then we can take better advantage of it!

Of course, we can also see difficult or malefic dasas

coming and have the time to deal better with these as

well!

Nothings worse then getting swept away with either

some period of the Transits or our Dasas.

These planetary powers are also part of our own system

within that correlate to the physiology of consciousness directly related

within and throughout the cosmos.

 

I agree, and when you learn to perceive your own

personal Transits and Dasas you’ll really feel like you’re

supposed to be going through this and that.!

 

The key, of course is learning how to #1 Take better

advantage of our Benefic strengths and #2 Change our Malefic

problems…also into strengths!

 

So, how to work

with them is the point of our interaction.

Saturn for

instance; the task master, timing is of essence, meditation is the

best. Befriend this goodness that this master wishes for us to know, and he will let us know.

 

So, let’s take this as a great

focus.

 

Go ahead and identify any quality or flavor of

let’s say your experiences of the Dasas, and then lets see if we can

 

#1 find that flavor or karma, positive or negative;

in your chart!

 

Then, we can experiment with Jyotish and Vedic

Remedies or Remedial Measures to se if we can change and improve that

experience!

It

is an art, as it were, to listen to the cycle or rhythm that brings us here. Karma says that we have come to unfold in our own special way during the life course. Jyotish will help us to see within, and see

our own Dharma that is to be fulfilled in this life time. This

Light within will show us the way. This is the way it is natural

for us human being to see the light, and to naturally want more of

it.

 

Well said!

 

And so that is the promise and the direct experience

that is extremely possible due to doing great

Jyotish!

 

We want to know who we

are!

 

As it turns out, ‘it’ is something

Astrological!

 

We are Astrological Beings, living in an Astrological

Universe!

 

Voila!

 

Learning to Know this is one of the great, wonderful

lessons that we can gain from the study of these

Transits.

 

These transits too will help us see ourselves, or our

charts more closely next

And then we’ll really begin to get the real

Purpose of our Lives!

 

As we discover our true, life purpose; what Jyotish

or Vedic Knowledge calls our true Dharma, then we’ll begin finding

our self living the life that we were truly meant to

live! " The lamp at the door "

will show us the way. Anyone got a match?

He he,… and the match is the pure Wisdom of

Jyotish.

It sparks and immediately we see some

light!

This is what happens when one has a good, powerful

Jyotish reading.

The real role of the Astrologer is to light our

match!

If we’ve done that well, then the person

feels enlivened!

They feel lit up!

They even may feel blissful, closer to

themselves,…

Later we can begin to learn to light our own

candles!

Each step where we light our light of pure

Jyotish

Within is such an amazing

experience.

Now, 19 years later I can honestly say it’s

the best thing I’ve ever learned!

I say, best, well maybe meditation is right up

there too.

But, when I added Jyotish to my meditation

experience;

Now that was an amazing complementary

thing!
