We should find in those with a host of manyspiritual experiences, a corresponding relationship in spiritual signs andaspects of the Astrology chart that are enlivened with spirtual experiences.Mark Kincaidps... I'll mention my chart and something about my spiritual journey. I'd loveto hear too about your chart and any spiritual experiences you've had...?In my chart...I was born with a pretty philosophical nature. Though at the time I couldn'thave told anyone that, hehe. I was curious, philosophical, and spiritual butdidn't know it. Mostly I felt like a searcher...Had very little interest in material goals andwanted to know about God!Later, I was attracted to meditation, because of this chart.... and all ofmy many spiritual experiences unfolded in direct proportion initially to mymeditating... Later I found that my Jyotish, even, could enhance my spiritual experiencesand development...Which is of course, one of the reasons why I started this group..For those of you who don't know I'll list my birth time. Would appreciatethe birth times of others too so we can connect this topic talk with our charts.I was born Sept. 4th, 1951 11:17am in Kansas City, Missouri USLibra Jyotish rising aThe first Astrological reasons why I was born with a more spiritual vs. material chart lies in my Jupiter. My Jupiter was in Pisces in my chart.Jupiter and Saturn of course are the two major spiritual planets. So, myJupiter was good though my Saturn was very poorly, being in the 12th house....There is at least some positive connotation of the 12th House, being the houseof the Transcendental reality. So, finding meditation fit my chart's naturevery well. Also, my Moon was in the 12th House,...which is another Astrological signof spiritual nature. However, for both Saturn and Moon there are some serious malefic meaningsof their placement in the 12th house...which ended up being very represenative of many, many difficulties alongmy path.Moon rules my 10th house in my chart and as a result, I felt very much at loss, (ie. 12th house of loss) for much of my life in terms of career.Saturn in the 12th house, lord of my 4th and 5th made me feel a tremendousdegree of loss, (12th house again) and I was at lost to Saturn's benefic sideand all the signifcations of the 4th & 5th were greatly impaired. So, not much peace of mind, (4th house)Many difficulties with education...(5th house), even breaks in education....I can go on and on...but suffice it to say, our charts are also indicative of if we could learn the lessons of our malefic situations; we could learn to progress in the exact areas that we had been suffering! So, when I stumbled upon meditation, I was drawn to it because of the goodpart of my Jupiter in Pisces. But, I was equally drawn to meditation because of the negatives in my life dueto both my Moon and Saturn in the 12th house. After awhile I noticed a tremendous improvement in both the malefic situations of the Moon and Saturn. Later, when I found Jyotish I realized thiswas possible because Meditation is one of the most important Jyotish or Vedic remedies for many Astrological problems or malefics! As I continued meditating, many, many of the negative aspects of my 2 important planets in the 12th house, began to disappear and instead more ofthe benefic or positive side of the 12th house came to me.These experiences started being very clear experiences of the absolute, or pure consciousness, what Ved calls the 4th state of consciousness or samadhi....Meditation, then, is one of the THE most important Vedic techniques for spiritual experiences including the opening of the 3rd eye...In the technique I practiced we weren't taught formally how to open it, butinstead were taught how to meditate innocently...and the 3rd eyes opens upnatually....I'll tell you one last story that has really helped me from my Jyotish. In my chart I noticed that I have both of Mercury's signs, Gemini, and Virgo in my 2 main spiritual Houses. If Jupiter and Saturn are the two main spiritual planets; the 9th & the 12th are two of the most important spiriutal houses. What I noticed was Gemini was in my 9th house while Virgo was in my 12th house. One of the things I quickly learned from Jyotish was that the nature of those two houses expressed very well how I initially tried to gain spiriutal knowledge when I was growing up.In other words I tried to understand spiriutality, I tried to understand reality through the Mercury intellect! In other words I tried to grasp or understand spirtuality through my Mercury mind.Years later after learning to meditate, one day it occured to me I had this yearning to try and understand life, reality or God on the level of intellect, but that there was also a huge difficulty with this! And that is that Reality or God are way beyond the Mercury intellect! So, as I progressed with mediation I became aware of many spiritual realitiesbeyond my Gemini or Virgo realities...And then when I began learning Jyotish I learned that one of my habits wasto try and grasp reality through my Mercury intellect. But, Jyotish and Meditation taught me that spirituality was way beyond the intellect, so this Jyotish understanding and personal meditative experiencehelped me grow way beyond the primary tendency in my chart to tryand grasp reality through the Mercury intellect...Anyway, here's some interesting food for thought....Looking forward to this discussion...Mark Kincaidpss... I'll also list one very special experience I had many, many years ago, now that'll express these ideas we've been talking about...When I was in college I had been meditating for about a year I think. One day I layed down and upon falling asleep had this dream!Though it was more like a vision. I'd been missing my Mother in Chicago, away from home for the first time and so I dreamt of her.She was my Mother, sitting on a coach with me at her feet. She was calmlystroking my hair and I knew everything would be okay! After awaking however, the thoughts occured to me: "But she didn't looklike my Mother in Chicago." Then all of a sudden it flashed in my mind. "Oh, my she wasn't my Motherin Chicao. She was my... and how do I say it.... She is more like my God Mother!"At the time I had no conscious mind idea of Mother Divine. I always thoughtGod was a Father. So, when I had this experience of my Eternal Motherstroking my head I knew it to be the Truth. This of course is an example of a 3rd eye, spiritual experience that goes waybeyond the limitations of my Gemini & Virgo nature houses, he he!This and many other wonderful experiences have been my great good luckdue to my mediation, and especially, now Jyotish experiences...fun talking with you!Vikrant <free_for_blue wrote: i love to read and know the experiences of people here who have got thier 3rd eye(ajna chakra) activated....please if there are such enlighted people here with thier 3rd eye activated then please do post ur occult or supernatural or any other sort of experiences that u might have had in past or are having at the moment..... for those who do not know about the 3rd eye .please do some google search...
