Rest, Heal, Rejuvenate! During the last Quarter of the Moon’s cycle…NOW Can you feel your own Moon, and emotions, energy Waning now? Moon represents how we feel and the Mind, emotions themselves. And, even if ‘your’ Moon is stronger and not so negatively affected by the Moon’s Wanings, you should notice that many, many ‘others’ are so affected! So, watch how receptive and emotional other people are during this last week of the Moon’s Waning cycle. This is an ideal time to take some time off, rest, do a healing and rejuvenate! 1) Moon’s in Virgo…. Now! Moon’s at the 6th degree as we speak so 24 more degrees equals 48 more hours to go! NO, malefic influences upon Virgo, so even though Moon’s Waning, there isn’t quite the intensity of other days. Though don’t get too Virgoish on yourself or others now if you’re feeling that Virgo shift! Instead put attention and energy on what Perfection is! 2) Moon’s Last Quarter Started Now! I find this is the least strong emotional time of the Month. Therefore good opportunity to rest and rejuvenate the Moon during this time. It’s like trying to be busy and active in the middle of the night. Should be resting, but having to work causes stress! 3) New Moon on Dec. 20th! New Moon comes before Christmas this year. However, the shopping and grand preparations that’s always there may seem slightly more hectic this year because there’s so little outer energy for that. But, this is the way Nature is, and we’re not meant to strain against ‘it’ but instead re-arrange our lives to take maximum advantage of each Cosmic moment. 4) Sun moves into Sagittarius on Dec. 16th! Big Shift in the Sun over the next few days! See if you can ‘feel’ that Sun, I, ego shift. Find the Sun and the Leo and House that it rules in your chart, and you’ll get a better take on what the Sun’s movements about your chart are really, all about! For Aries individuals: Sun’s rulership of Leo fall into the 5th House. Therefore each Month of Sun transits has to do with your karma of Sun ruling Education, children and Knowledge. The Sun’s movements around the Astrological sky then, send back a continual feedback to you, regarding your karmas related to knowledge and intelligence. Sun moving into ‘your’ Sagittarius represents your 9th House of God and spirit, so this upcoming month is ideal for spiritual development and growth! Each Newsletter during this upcoming Sun in Sagittarius we’ll publish at least 1 effect of the Sun’s movements based upon Rising Sign.. 5) Moon moves into Libra, in 2 more days, on Friday, December 15th Moon is very happy moving through Libra so these days of Friday and Saturday and part of Sunday will be very nice. Just watch your energy level and if low, rest more. Otherwise 2 ½ good days here too! 6) Mars Recently moved into Scorpio, too! On November 27th, 2006. This is important because Mars is the ONLY planet that really loves it in Scorpio! All the rest have some angst, or slight uneasiness. See if you can feel that strong, naturalness of Mars/Scorpio during the next several weeks. Mars stays in its Own Sign Scorpio till: January 8, 2007! Take advantage of this Wonderful Mars Transit! o If you have a weak Mars, this time is good to show you how strong you can be! o If you have a too strong or Malefic functioning Mars, DON’T GET SUCKED INTO THIS POWERFUL MARS TIME and be too Marish! See Subscribers’s Comments & Questions Below: From the other day…. Philosophy of Astrology - 4 Pillars! There are 4 Primary areas of Astrology, or Principles, that reflect the power and majesty of this great Knowledge and Science. Part 1… “Our Charts Fit Us” Contained within everyone’s Charts is an Realization that there is a symbolism of Astrology; Sun, Moon and Planets, in different Signs and Houses, which in a very real and profound way, …. “FITS US!” Most people are on a path of Astrological Self-Discovery that consists of discovering the Exact “1 to 1 Correspondence” between our Charts and our selves! Part #2… “Our Chart’s Benefices & Malefics” Secondly, within each of our charts is an Astrological Discrimination called “Benefices and Malefics”. In other words the Strengths, positive, and good aspects of ourselves have been linked to the so-called Benefices in our Charts. Astrology has discovered certain Planets in specific, particular Houses, Signs and configurations which represent instances in which those Planets are Strong, Well Developed, Health, and therefore creating only good or Beneific influence. The Malefics, on the other hand, are planets in other Signs, Houses and configurations that are known to reflect weaknesses, problematic mental, emotional and personality issues that are the true source of ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS! This is a huge Insight and Wisdom about life. It means forever in the future, we can know beforehand, and at birth what a young soul’s strengths and weaknesses will be. Not only this but we’ll even know which times coming up will be full of the positive and negative karmas of those initial Benefic and Malefic tendencies. Part 3… “Astrological Predictions” There is then the next area of Jyotish which is called the Dasa Time Periods. These are natural declaration of what the quality, positive or negative future will be like. This means, based on our initial chart, and evaluation of Benefices and Malefics we’ll know what the future will be like. This is what a lot of people use Astrology for today, to look into the future and determine which areas will be smooth and which ones frought with problems, illness, losses or set-backs. Finally…. Part 4… “Our Charts Contain a Formula For Self-Improvement & Development” Finally, there is an inherent Wisdom as to our various Benefices and Malefics, in our charts. In the area of our Benefices, these Planets represent aspects of ourselves in which only good will be coming. As a result of this future Benefic periods will be Golden Opportunites. And, though we may not need to improve our Benefices, we can use this insight to take more Advantage of our Benefices or Utilize them more profoundly. Secondly, the classification of Malefics in our charts not only represents our Problems, Weaknesses and Challenges, but they represent the very Planets that we’ve come to literally strengthen and self-improve! The idea is we created these positive and negative situations in the first place, so now we’ve come back to work on strengthening the Undeveloped, weaker Malefic areas! We’ve come literally to improve or change our Malefics and we’ve even picked specific times in which to do this. For example, if Saturn’s one of the Malefics in our chart then especially during Saturn Dasa Periods, this is the ideal time to work on strengthening our Saturn. This Principle and Understanding of Astrology; however, has been much lost and confused. As a result, the belief or ability to strengthen one’s Malefics has become greatly forgotten. As a result, during so-called Malefic periods, then, the prediction is only one of doom and gloom instead of the precious opportunity to work on those areas. For example, during the Moon’s Waning Period each month, this time represents a certain Strength or in this case, weakness of the Moon. As a result, Astrology says that people born with Waning or Smallish Moon’s in their charts are therefore doomed to suffer the consequences of such ‘wrong’ actions from the past. But a different Interpretation is needed here. When you watch the Moon Waxing and Waning each month, you realize that the Waning and New Moon time is not a cursed time, but rather a time of inwardness, deep rest, rejuvenation and healing. Watch the Moon for just 2 months and you can literally, feel the Physiology slow down and be more inward. Like the Rest cycle at night, this Moon cycle represents a Deep Inward Rest cycle of the entire Month. Therefore, those who were born with Waning or Smallish Moons were born to literally strengthen or Develop their Moons. Also, during Moon situations like the Waning Moon or Moon Dasa periods these are the times in which it is ideal to work on our Moons! Like this each Planet can be seen either as one that is already strong or one that we’ve come to work on and strengthen. Practical experience shows that this is the True Nature of our Malefics! They’re NOT only the source of our grief, mistakes and unhappiness. They are the very planets that we’re meant to improve. This is extremely easy to prove! If you have a delicate, fragile or small Moon in your chart, watch the Moon cycle for 2 months. Then, especially during the Waning parts, or times when you feel the greatest roughness of the Moon, put attention during these times on strengthening your very Moon! Even 2 or 3 days of this will convince you that this is the real purpose of our life’s struggles and frustrations. Same thing can happen with all the other Planets. Watch next time you’re rushing too fast. Maybe you’re late for an important business meeting or get together. You’re rushing and you’re having little accidents. Maybe you’re bumping your elbow rushing through the door. Maybe you get a slight burn at the stove as you try to rush in your kitchen. Then, you’re rushing down the stairs and you finally slip and fall on your behind. You sit there, having strained your, eh, ‘ankle’ and you end up having to cancel your very important meeting. In bed later, you lament: “Oh, why me? This was such an important event and God or Nature, or evil forces prevented me from going!” Truth is we created the accident. The importance of it aside, but we chose the path through which we tried to walk, or in this case run. Now, that we know a little bit about Astrology we think I bet you Mars did it! Mars of course, is used to blame!, hehe. It’s used to blaming so and so for all our problems. So, of course we should be able to blame ‘it’ too, right? Maybe we even call our favorite Astrologer and ask them, “Why did this happen? Was I in a terrible Mars period?” The Astrologer may look and even find either a Mars Dasa or Transit which was prevailing at that time, but if he’s a particular good Astrologer he would also say: “The problem is not with Mars, but it’s with your use of it. In your chart, yes, Mars is Malefic. And this does mean the tendencies to move too fast and be too Marish. In fact even in Mars periods, you’ll find these dilemmas coming up. However, the real purpose of having a Malefic Mars is so that you realize that you’re meant to strengthen, balance or heal your Mars! So, next time you find yourself having to rush, remember this experience. In fact you’ll know it, because you’ll find yourself with a little Mars sign. At the first or even second Mars instance, RECOGNIZE this! Then Stop! Don’t keep going till you’re flat on your,… eh,…back. Stop then, take a deep breath and realize you need to slow down. Then, later, make a decision to make a commitment to strengthen or self-improve your Mars so you don’t create any accidents in your future! Like that each Planet has a purpose and a unique story. It can be understood theoretically and it needs to be understood in terms of the particulars of each one of our charts. Saturn has a story of “lessons”, healthy and imbalance. When Saturn is healthy and Benefic then we have patience, calmness and find ourselves doing the ‘right’ thing at the right time. However, if our Saturn is Malefic then we find ourselves suffering the Malefic consequences like ill-health, set backs, delays, disappointments, frustrations, losses, grief and suffering. So, is Saturn evil? No, it’s lesson is just about self-grief that we create. Like the Mars accidents, we set up the Saturn problems as well. Saturn is about living one’s life with balance, poise, and dignity. Rushing, straining and lives full of stress and imbalance literally aggravate Saturn and make Him Malefic. It’s not the other way around. He’s Malefic ‘functioning’ because we’ve created him that way. Therefore we can easily re-adjust and learn those precious things that will turn even the dreaded Saturn Malefic, also into a strength! The same is true for all the other Planets, including the Sun. Each Planet has a positive, Benefic side and each planet has a negative Malefic side. It’s up to us whether we choose to keep Planets being Malefic or learn how to make them our best friends! Each Planet has a perfect, Divine, Fully Positive and life affirming Benefic potential. Discover how to improve any and all the Malefics in our charts, and your life will become smooth, natural and easy fulfillment of desires. Subscriber’s…… Questions, Comments & Observations….. From Amy in : Re. How do I know what is right & wrong..?....! “Mark: Oh, my I went through this hassle at work over these last few weeks, and I up and quit my job! Though it doesn’t sound quite as bad as that, though now, I’m wondering if I did the right thing. I mean, I do a kind of contract work which has a limited life-span on it anyway. But, I didn’t think of the repercussions, didn’t think it through rationally and now I’m worrying? Please help?” “Dear Amy: In truth all actions in life are best evaluated in terms of their results. Unfortunately we can’t often tell if we’ve done right or wrong till it’s too late. But, Jyotish has a lot of Wisdom to help us ‘know’ what’s more right for us, even ahead of times. One of the reasons why you’re a little bit nervous about this, is because you’ve done this before, (she told me), and therefore you should be nervous about flowing in this way which previously brought bad results. However, other times, we loose our jobs without any notice, so change is part of life. There are in fact, two primary ways in which we can be better prepared for any changes, whether it’s good and done by our choice, or done to us and maybe not so positive. #1 we have enough inner composure that nothing on the outside upsets us. This of course refers to our consciousness, Sun and Moon, and those who are awake in their inner Awareness have a great inner freedom that’s crucial for life. The old adage of learning how to be happy no matter ‘what’ the weather is doing, is a good analogy for this inner state of liberated consciousness. That’s why such things as meditation are so powerful and in many cases recommended the most often for strengthening both the Sun and Moon, in our charts. #2 we need to be prepared financially for sudden shifts. Even non-astrological people, accountants, or economic brains know that saving money is crucial for living a sound and fiscal life. So, if we have more money saved, then we can weather any of the financial ups and downs of life. Conclusion: The way to tell Astrologically what we should do, starts first in our charts. We need to find out if our Sun and Moon are strong. If they’re needing more development, then we should put attention on such things as strengthening our Moons through meditation and my techniques such as we mentioned today. Also, we need to explore our 3 money houses to figure out if those houses are strong and healthy. See, we make money according to our 11th House, we spend our money from the 12th and how much we have left over is glimpsed from our 2nd Houses. See if your 11th House is strong and positive. If you make plenty of money, then that’s good, as the first part. However, if finances are slow, and especially if Saturn’s aspecting the 11th House or it’s Lord, then one should be careful and learn to appease and strengthen your Saturn so more money comes to you. For example I have Leo in my 11th House, and generally money coming to me is not the problem since I have Sun in Leo there, and that generally allows me to make money. However, right now Saturn’s also moved into Leo, and I can feel that slowing down process of Saturn there. So, I’ve learned to be better prepared, Psychologically for making less during this whole Saturn Transit. #2, then we need to look at our 12th Houses, and see if there are any impediments there. If there are any negative associations with the 12th then people tend to spend more then they should. Saturn, Rahu and Mars are the worse planets, generally, to have there, and those people often times spend way much more then they earn from the 11th. So, look at that house and see what’s going on. And, finally, look at your 2nd House to see what that karma entails. For example, in your chart, you’ve got Pisces in your 11th House, and the ruler of your 11th House is Jupiter in Capricorn, in your 9th house. And, though Jupiter is well placed there, it is also weaker in that sign. So, it’s not surprising to see from your chart, Astrologically, that sometimes you make decisions regarding your income flow, which may not be quite right! In other words, this dilemma can be seen from your chart. Also, it may have been right for you to make an especially spiritual change for you, since Jupiter’s not only lord of your 11th but in the all important 9th house. However, you need to be sure that you’re not making a mistake due to Jupiter being in Capricorn. This may mean you need to be sure that you have enough money saved so that you can quit as you did! Also, because I know that you’re thinking of going off and taking that advanced meditation course right now, I do think you’ve made the right decision. And you will be making no money during this time, but as soon as you get back, you just have to put attention again on filling up your coffers! Hope this helps!” Enjoy!
